HMF Can Am Renegade 1000R Titan Exhaust and Fuel Optimizer Test Review. The easiest way to access more horsepower is typically by installing a good aftermarket exhaust and fuel controller. We often chose the HMF Titan Quiet Series for our 4x4 ATV builds and testing because they work to maximize horsepower gains while maintaining sound output typically within 2 to 3db of stock. Keeping sound down keeps riding areas open and more welcoming to ATVs.
HMF’s Titan series exhausts are available in full systems from the header back, or as a slip-on system like the one we’ve been using. The Titan series is constructed of corrosion resistant stainless steel, utilizing a single 14” stainless steel silencer. The Titan’s silencer core and combination steel wool with a glass pillow wool packing greatly reduces the frequency at which the silencer needs repacking
Choosing the Titan QS, we went with maximum power gains without much added sound output, which we feel good about. Although, our decision to use the less expensive and easier to install slip- on version could have left a little more horsepower on the table, we still enjoyed more power out of the Renegade 1000R, focused in the area of the power curve where the rider can best make use of it.
With only complements on the deep throaty sound of the Titan QS exhaust, you’ll at least retain the appearance of sensibility as you make your Rotax even more insanely fun to ride.

Great vid! Been thinking about this set up for my Max 850 xtp. Wondering if you guys can get your hand on a Segway Snarler and or some CF Moto quads and do some comparison tests against other well established manufacturers.

I love the HMF setup on my bike but long rides it can be annoying. I put in the quiet core and it still sounds better than stock but not super loud either.

good video, but would have been very helpful to show some drag times between stock vs modded, I dont trust too many of the drag times or reviews by feel online but I trust you guys and your numbers.

Thanks for the vote of confidence and great suggestion. That is something we definitely would have liked to have done had we had access to another unit that was stock. Perhaps we need to look into some data acquisition.

@@ATVonDemand Even aquiring one of those Dragy units or something might help with a before and after, that would be super helpful for people who want to know if something actually makes a quad faster. For example, 50% of riders says clutch kits make can ams faster but theres 50% that says it makes no difference. Would be great for someone trusted like you guys to show the real numbers. Love your content though, keep up the good work guys!
Can’t wait for my full HMF dual performance series to come in for my 2019 can-am renegade 1000 xxc it’s going to sound badass! 👍😎🤛 If it’s a little too loud/annoying I’ll probably put the quiet cores in I’ll see first though

I have the Slip On HMF Dual Performance on my Renegade also with the quiet cores. It sounds sooo good!! You won't be disappointed. It will bring a smile to your face.
