You can tell by watching different people play, that some people, get really.. for lack of a better way to describe it.. "In character". Like they aren't just trying to "play the game", they're trying to "be the character" they're playing. They'll look around, they'll approach things logically from the character's POV and try stuff that makes sense in universe for the character. They'll look around at other characters when talking to them, etc. They really get into it. Whereas other people, it's just a game, and they're just sorta drifting through it, and most of the details of stuff happening around them sail past them.

The funny thing is that their blue "eyes" are not eyes at all -- these are guns. And the actual eyes are grey & placed a bit lower.

Also, a huge combat disadvantage to have any glowing apparel. It gives away your position too much.

i remember that the first half-life game i played was half-life source, and i never knew what to do because i was dumb af and i just wanted to shoot something, i always used cheats when i coulnd't figure out where did i had to go, i miss those days.

That’s what the Combine does, take over a planet, subjugate and absorb the local alien species into its armies and workforce, and cybernetically enhance and augment them. The Striders and Hunters are just aliens the Combine subjugated in the past. Previous victims of their power. Future aliens will have human-Combine soldiers invading their planet

You should do one for the scene in Episode 2, where dog rips the brain out of a striders head.

Half Life is a game where you play as a man who carries around like 40 weapons and takes on entire armies of Combine soldiers and aliens singe handed, I think it makes sense to assume you can take on a hunter

Probably because you do not want to let others pinpoint the window. This is especially true in half life 1. The moment you smash a window is the moment you run because some soldier might just launch a rifle grenade in your general direction.

Hunters are cruel and leave things to die if they have the chance too, they can laugh so I imagine they find it funny to leave people to bleed out

It didnt. It stabbed her through and through and mauled her with its hooves. it was a mortal wound and then some. she was hanging on by a weakening thread and the vort had to pull some deep shit to save her with us having ot go through 3 different types of hell and a 4th one stacked ontop to save her from death.
