I actually just tried this except I used a dowel and rolled on the edge to keep it all smooth, so far so good! Thanks for the suggestion!

@@BikesBeardsAndBrews I have this issue with the HJC RPHA 90s XL, I was going to return it for XXL but thinking the Polystyrene (EPS) will just be the same in XL and XXL and only the padding was different? I was hoping the RPHA 91 eliminated that as it comes in 4 shell sizes over the RPHA 90s 3 shell sizes. RPHA 91 - Shell sizes 4 (XS/S, M, L, XL/XXL) RPHA 90 - Shell sizes 3 (XXS, XS-M, L-XXL)

​@@nieloleeI just did a new video where I do a new set up to record a Cardo to a Gopro, it just came out a few weeks ago and it explains how to do the forehead fix. I also recently put two strips of bicycle helmet foam inside the top of the helmet behind the liner to lift it up a little. Worked like a charm

@@BikesBeardsAndBrews cheers man, just watched it, that's good 👍 - wondering now why you would pick that helmet for the Cardo install considering it's aimed for Sena/HJC Smart integration - I were a 3XL in LS2 but they are budget and I think the sizing is over estimated, I have spoken to the shop about my RPHA 90s XL forehead pain and they are ok to take it back under refund, now I'm just wondering if I should jump to the XXL i91 or XXL RPHA 91 - my initial purchase reason is for a quite modular helmet. I don't know if the base i91 is as quite as the RPHA - very obvious price gap.

So cool to see hjc work everything out for you. Almost like they care about their customers.

Absolutely, they've been great! I'm sure having a helmet with a 5year warranty doesn't hurt the conversation either

Thanks for the update. I think I'll give it a go as I'm a small size. I tried another HJC in the shop and it seemed comfortable for me. What is the Go Pro chin mount you use? Do you recommend it?

Yeah when I talk to him they admitted that they tried something new. It didn't work out and they went back and started fixing it so high. Five to them for that

Yeah they have been great. It's actually the edge of the foam shell, I think I finally have it fixed though

They do, normally you order them via revzilla or your local dealer. I have two headliners for this one currently and they snap right in

I tried this and the i90, I think it was. They both put a pinch point or hot spot on my forehead right away. HJC full face helmets have been fine for me though.

@@BikesBeardsAndBrews I tried on these in the shop, I'm 2XL-3XL in LS2 Brand I tried the 2XL in i90 and it felt very big, so tested XL and it felt perfect in the shop, so ordered myself one only to find it has the forehead pain after 15 minutes - I'm thinking the ones in the shops are heavily used/tried-on etc or maybe the foam has been squished/crushed by testers over time and just felt better - I don't know now.

Couldn’t find an HJC that fit me. Wanted this helmet but went with a Neotech 2.

Neotec was always on my radar but the top complaint I heard on that one was ventilation and I do like airflow

I wear a 2xl and that's been the same in several different makes of HJC helmets, my Ruroc 4.0 and a few others. I've tried XL but it's way too tight
