Some of the monster from this line can work amazingly with 1/12 action figures. This Muto looks like good army builder.

Hiya is awesome they just have to start including more accessories

The reason why they are basic. I do wish they would have a plus or deluxe line to go with the basic figure.i think if it's a 5-10 dollar increase for plus and 10-15 for deluxe, they would probably destroy most, if not all of SHMA profits for the legendary line. Prime example, shimo. I think it's definitely going to outsell the SHMA figure. If it had a beam, it would take away all of SHMA buyers.

@@tilmonrBoth Kongs are exquisite basic figures and came with a ton of accessories though But since Hiya doesn’t sell to Japan they’re never going to be directly competing with Bandai so I can see why they don’t care

Great review and awesome figure. I agree some destructible buildings would have been great for accessories but Hiya has been doing excellent work on the figures alone

I might be saying the obvious but these figures are great if you don't want to occupy too much space in your shelves.

Just wanna say thank you for reviewing the hiya toys monsters. For the price point good stuff compared to the SH Monsterarts which is over prices and major QC issues.

The only things they could have added as accessories could have been the nuclear missile or maybe a glowing egg sac with the muto spores. Adding people would be a waste of time because they would be too small if they are in scale.

They could add atomic breath or explosions with almost every release

Even though I dont collect these, I find your videos on figures like this a lot of fun to watch; because unlike something from Hasbro, I don’t know what to expect. I really enjoy that sense of discovery

Awesome review there, Anthony! Agreed on your point about Hiya Toys should’ve at least included any accessories such as miniature buildings, effect parts, etc., for their MonsterVerse and Godzilla line-up. For me, here’s hoping if they’ll do a 18cm fully-articulated Godzilla 2004 from “Godzilla: Final Wars” by giving him some accessories like closed-tight fist hands, etc. Imagine how amazingly detail the figure be with movie-accurate, as well as incredible range of insane poses and articulations.

I think as a monster for 6 inch figures, this creature definitely has potential

I like how Hiya is able to make what essentially is a more affordable SH Monsterarts. Hopefully Hiya re-releases the APC from Aliens.

I like MUTOs in the first Godzilla movie. I wouldn’t mind picking up the male version.

I'm not a fan of the MUTO, but this is well done.

Hiya is the opposite of SHMA, their final release products look much better than the preview/prototypes.
