Your gentle,slow movements. You really have the nudge down! Very cool. Mine hate the brush. I’m using a feather. When you brought it out I was like ohh oh…nice bees and handling.

Hilarious! This brush is actually a lot softer than the ones with plastic bristles. Sometimes I'll just pick some weeds and use that instead of a brush! (I don't have to clean off the weeds and they don't be transferring any diseases, bacteria etc between colonies)

It's amazing how you handle bees without being stung. What does it take to get started in bee keeping and start collecting honey ? Where can a person buy bee keeper products ? Thanks

Cool to see KTBH'S in action! Used to have 23 empties & 7 live Kenyans up in high desert, swarms lured into them from the rescued Langs. Bear got to most of 68 10frm Langs in 3rd worst CAdrought/ fire of 2021, but 7 Kenyans survived! If you ever remodel the top bars, place side rails to contain the top bars, & make wider rooves to fit over saved me from having to align the bars.

Es adorable la manera que tienes de manejar esa colmena Kenya !!!. Hace 3 años construí una muy parecida con 38 tablas( en época de pandemia tenía tiempo libre ). Mi mayor problema es que las abejas terminan pegando los panales naturales ( que son ovalados y no exagonales) lo que dificulta su extracción para mantenimiento. Quisiera saber como haces para evitarlo? Tras: The way you handle that hive Kenya is adorable!!! 3 years ago I built a very similar one with 38 boards (during the pandemic I had free time). My biggest problem is that the bees end up sticking the natural combs (which are oval and not hexagonal) which makes them difficult to remove for maintenance. I would like to know how you can avoid it?

It's a top bar hive; TJ Carr style top bar hive to be more specific. You can google it and get the schematics. It is by far my favorite style of top bar hive.
