Ya, eventually, when it actually runs properly LOL!

If you're sure the carbs are cleaned and tuned properly, and the intake boots have no cracks, I might start looking at the coil grounds/wires and caps. It's gotta either be fuel or electric I would think.

Thanks Rob! Maybe one day we will succeed in getting this thing running properly.

Have you checked the valve adjustment? Could be a tight valve especially if you have more trouble when it's hot. Maybe a hotter plug?

Ya, whole engine was rebuilt and valves adjusted. Issue lies with intermittent spark we believe.

Water in fuel? Too much/less air? Great you guys also got some heavy wet snow there, I been out struggling myself 😆

I think you should deny winter and get The Boat on the water. I think superior should be open.

I can only wish that I lived somewhere that didn't have winter. I hate winter now and have no use for it. It's been 6 full months since I had the boat in the water and it will still be another month before I'll be able to again when the launches are clear. I'm running out of videos but since barely anyone is watching them, not many will notice when I don't post anymore. LOL! I can't wait to get out in the boat again. Thanks Fred.

How's the muffler itself is the spark resister clogged could cause back pressure to stall the quad?

I know my machine was backfiring I did the ais delete which is just plugging the hose from air box to the front of the exhaust, not sure if your brute has that set up or not.

Could it be coil or spark ? Maybe the voltage regulator or stator? Sorry I’m not more helpful.

Bad wires or connections? Do those things have ecm's?

Wrong spark plug temp range? Bacfires I always thought were from timing. If timing was off, then valves open when they aint supposed to or sparks when it aint supposed to. Maybe bad distributer ( if they have one) component?

If the plug doesn't spark when it's supposed to the fuel will end up in the hot pipe and ignite there. Since it doesn't happen till the atv is warm and it's wet outside then it must be something to do with the plug wires/caps. At least that's the theory I'm sticking with. LOL!
