Back in the day I loved pretending that the hotel room we are given the key of was the bedroom which I was going to stay in. I would always store my suitcases, guns and stuff in it so it would feel like a real room haha

When you kill Fritz Fuchs he has a X-Ray Room key its the key to the bomb room hope this helped!

The music just adds another whole universe of atmosphere. Jesper Kyd did an amazing job

fun fact...when hitman 1 was released i was living in budapest for a time and that hotel is real. to bad they didnt build it 1on1 + the view on the city and the bridges. you can swim outside + big wave pool at the time. would love to see a remake with current graphics.

This is in my opinion an example of how a level to be good does not need to be super overpopulated like the the new levels in Hitman 2016, there is an atmosphere and solitude in an empty shady hotel that makes it special. Level design does not get much better than this.

this was one of my first games as a kid... i never understood exactly how to play. i remember walking around these missions for hours just trying to figure it out. this game is so creepy

TL;DR: Hitman Contracts is a remake of Hitman Codename 47. Ive seen many comments saying this level is very familiar to the one in Codemane 47. Its actually the same level just reimagined. Actually Hitman Contracts is just a remake of Codename 47 for the simple reason that Hitman Codename 47 was a less than popular reviewed game when it came out. It also didnt come out on consoles due to the fact that it didn't make a lot of money. So not many people got a chance to play Hitman Codename 47. The developer found better success with Hitman 2: Silent Assassin and when they saw its success they remade the entire game with the better game mechanics and graphics an just called it Hitman: Contracts. Honestly they should have called it something else like Hitman: Origins, but it's a little late now. The reason this game is a reimagined version of Hitman Codename 47 is the same reason the story makes little sense. I guess the developers thought most players where at least familiar with the lore and hence why the cutscenes are 'flashbacks' hence requiring the player to do some mental tracking.

I dropped the suitcase right next to the metal detector, then walked through he took my weapons and I picked up the suitcase and walked straight in xD I still got the guard outfit, went up to the next room but a belhop was hoovering.. so I waited till he unlocked and entered the room, I then took his master key out the door and waited for him to leave. First time I played this mission.. I didnt realise there would be another suitcase haha.. and when I got to the bath he wasnt there not in the sauna.. restarted spead ran through and this time he was in the sauna. Great video, thanks, I got the SA rating, now slaying a dragon..

Been stuck on this 10 minutes lol, good video. I did things differently though, I shot my way through the front door and everywhere lol, this was much easier ha

2:53 I killed him using the sniper! And you can kill the 3 guards outside the hotel too...

Every hitman game should have a hotel mission. It really makes you feel like a world class assassin.

Hitman 1 has a mission of same name and also with the similar killing techniques. That's why I found this mission so known techniques like jumping from the balcony

Hotel missions are always great in Hitman.

Superb the killing in the sauna! Anyway I killed the guy in the pool in the window outside with the sniper I got in the rastaurant as a gift. Anyway it is up to the player choosing the strategy.

1:35 O_O WTF!! For a second there I thought that was Ort-Meyer!! I never noticed this ghost as my screen was crappy when I first played this mission and I only went through the West Wing once in my life and was in a hurry that I didn't notice this dude!! DAAAAMN!!

This thermal bath hotel actually exists in Budapest, Hungary. A friend of mine from there has actually been to it.

I remember when I played this mission so many times for fun. One unbelievable discovery was that you could actually strangle the ghost and kill it with the fiber wire. 😂

3:06 Instead of injecting him, I just garroted the bodyguard so he wouldn't raise the alarm otherwise. I still got Silent Assassin despite me garroting that bodyguard and that thug in the room where you climb through the window on the 3rd floor to take his clothes.

I think the game series as its evolves it becomes a lot better adding the element of inocent citizens.The same mision as a remake with hitman's 2016 graphics but a lot more denced i think it would so facking awesome.

I didn't like how they took away the button to sprint from hitman 2. If you wanted to walk you had to push the analog stick only like half way, which was really annoying. I just felt super obvious running everyone. In 2, if you ran you'd be spotted like instantly.

guys i played all hitman games but i still don't understand the meaning of getting silent assassin i mean he killed a guard and as i understand that killing non-target will give you Professional rating .. can someone explain please?

The silent assassin rating is for only killing your targets and going undetected. Also for doing it you get bonus guns.
