Hitman is already a very dark series, but Contracts has the darkest atmosphere for sure. I think Jesper Kyd’s soundtrack is a big part of that.

I think that is why I still prefer the first 4 games. So much grittier and darker and 47 did not look like a generic character in the face.

Fun fact: the reason for the dark and rainy atmosphere in Contracts is because while 47 is in a coma it's dark and raining outside as well. This influences all his memories of previous missions. For example the Hongkong and Budapest missions were actually during daytime in Codename 47.

Was good in studies as well. Not like todays kids just glued to their phones all day long lol they dont even go out to play with their friends and do any outdoor sports. Which is kind of sad. My parents never let me play this game as I was 7 when this game came out, but I managed to get one of those disks for ps2 with loads of demos. Hitman: Contracts was on it with just this one level. It was so much fun.

I finished this game in hard difficulty at 2018. All missions. That was incredible.

This game was so well made

This game is a hidden gem, but the world trilogy plays well. I however loved the storyline narratives to the OG 4 Hitman games.

Probably in the original there were supposed to be soldiers at the Airport’s tower. In the demo, in the images before playing the level, it is shown that 47 has to sedate the worker in order to Exit the Plane

Childhood! Im a girl and used to watch my bro play it on PC , I was 8 or 9 something Later , I played this demo without knowing the fact that you to play as "assassinate" so I just kill all out Russian soilders and keep swipe their clothes 😂😂😂

Love seeing the differences from my Silent Assassin playthrough. Playing the Legacy series for the first time. Even got a unique Russian soundtrack as I was being escorted dressed as Fuchs. Wore radiation suit found in warehouse NW of sub (tipped off by informant in the kitchen). Eh that's about it 😊

I kept getting professional rating because the guard in front of the sub kept finding the 2 others on the pier. So I blew up the sub with all three next to each other. The guard in front of the sub never dies but as long as he “see’s “ the bodies while the sub is destroyed, he won’t spot them again.

This was a fun and relaxing mission when I played it, I loved this one.

I’m playing through the whole game, and I watched a walkthrough for the first mission but decided to figure this one out as it went on. It’s surprisingly rewarding when you play it blind as opposed to a walkthrough, I had to use my pistol because I suck at fibre wiring but I only killed one civ to get his outfit at the start of the mission right on the plane. This mission is hard but pretty great at the same time.

When I used fiber wire on fuchs in this mission, the Russian soldier entered and followed by so many others from Russians and Fuchs's guards and it was the moment that hitman knew, he fucked up and got shot to hell.

Lol agent 47 had the yellow/grey northface on.

this has to be the hardest mission in this series,IMO

I personally find the china ( or japan ) missions the hardest. Because its so easy to trigger some alert and the targets runaway for no reason ( maybe it was bug idk ).

I love this game because it got me a girlfriend. You know How? It's because I had practiced playing this in professional mode for over a year and I showed it to her. She was Impressed.

Every time I’d run especially around other enemies it would blow my cover.

How much it takes to design such finesse tactic? So exhilarating, so prudent!

I always shot Fabian with the silenced .45 while he was on the toilet. Something I always found so satisfying about it.

Oh man. This was probably the best looking Hitman mission prior to Blood Money. And it captures northern Russia pretty good, I know, since I'm russian. Another good example of this winter blues is NOLF 2. However, it is just as beautiful as tedious and overall bad. Not as bad as Hitman Absolution, but still pretty bad.

@@ralphmayers9859 nice to know that, hitman games have a good advantage, they take you across the globe, see other world's ethnics and how they talk, not in America all the time, sometime in Russia, sometime in Europe, India, Morocco and so on.

I remember swearing at the maps in every mission because it was so difficult for me to understand the maps in those days. Now the hitman games give u a type of xray thingy that locates ur target through the walls. And diana also gives u hints on how to perform any action.

bloodyspare there are four guards outside the submarine.the fourth guy will detect those 3 deaths if he is not killed.so you have to be patient until he gets close to the sub then blow it up.Silent assassin
