@@ATLeft you hit that right on the head. That's what I loved about this game in particular the overall atmosphere and soundtrack that gives it another layer.

You can fiber wire the ghost aswell and drag it around, the one that you see walking in the hallway and into the wall. You need to be very quick but its possible to "kill" him and drag the ghost body around. Then if you shoot at where the ghosts are standing in the bathrooms blood will splatter on the walls too.

Used to play this so much back in the days. So dark atmosphere, no bullshit, no stupid jokes... And the background music by Jesper Kyd, holy hell, I've been listening to the OST even later, it's a piece of art as itself even without the game, but how it fits the dark atmosphere so perfectly!

If they had dual ballers and things like fiber wiber, coin and lock pick as default and of course full weapon customisation, i might reconsider my choices. The old real time map would be useful not a fan of seeing through walls.

This part had a dark theme for purpose. Developers had to give something due to the pressure from investors and fans but they were actually working on Hitman - Blood Money. So they decided to use the theme and weapons etc. that of Silent Assasin and gave the effect that Hitman was in his sub-conciousness, he was remembering all ( most of the missions are remake of missions from Codename-47 ). That's why all the missions had a dark theme, but real thing is, developers kept it dark so that they had to add minimal details to the game for swift launch.

@Agent 39 That's actually an interesting thesis, never thought of that before but it makes sense! I absolutely love this game the most, even though Blood Money was objectively speaking the best version to the date, I mean the gun customization thing and all those newspaper things etc. But I still love Contracts the most, because for me it was the first game of the franchise and had the best dark atmosphere. I was a bit disappointed by the huge number of sunny maps in Blood Money, which was a huge contrast to Contracts, since there are not a single sunshiney map in the whole game.

​@Agent 39 it's after the mission curtains calls inn blood money. If I remember correctly. He gets shot and thats where contracts takes starts off.

my only possible guess for the bartender first person glitch is that maybe something about the way the glasses fit on 47's head messes with the first person, like for example, the back of the glasses is untextured and is for some reason blocking all the vision, or the camera gets shoved inside the glasses instead of the glasses being invisible like they should be in first person, something like that. Just because it looks sort of similar to going too far out of bounds in Half Life 2 or something.

Fact: the restaurant in the mission Wang fou incident was used in first Hitman game mission where we had to place a bomb under a car or etc Hitman contracts has some levels remastered from the missions of first GAME

You missed an easter egg in the last mission, maybe you have to be French to recognize it. In one of the hotel rooms, there is a radio and you can hear music from a famous French rap group called IAM (this pronounces "I am") (elders and pillars of French conscious rap, they have featured with Method Man and Redman)They are highly respected and renowned for their writing skills in the world of French rap.

@@filipeamaral216 Yeah the new hitman games crack jokes about this aswell. I remember in Hitman 2018 if you disguise as a doctor he will say to the target "my name is dr Rieper." It is hilarious and quite frightening since the target makes this scared looking face.

The radio conversation is some very cringe chinese flirting lol The chinese in code name 47 poster read as "Karate is for girl"

Cantonese translation: 10:46 You can't snatch my daughter! 13:24 Two women speaking: "Why you love gossip? You always care about other's private matter." "I'm not gossiping, I'm just telling you he is handsome" 13:59 Karate is for girls BTW, it seems the dialogs are presented by Cantonese native speakers, not like the movies nowadays (Hollywood movies never find natives speakers to present foreign language).

The ghosts in the hotel freak me out instead of the guards 😂

The best weapon variety in any Hitman game, nice sounds as well. I swear Hitman could hold more weapons here than the Punisher game on Playstation.

There's also a way to activate an aimbot. The aiming reticle turns red when it's near an enemy and will always hit the target, but I'm not sure what I did to activate it.

13:45 That arrow and CS are all over Hitman 2, in areas off the map. You need to teleport to get there. There's one just past the front gate in Tracking Hayamoto.

There’s an error in this video. The last mission of the game would be the last mission chronologically. The first mission takes place after Codename 47 ends, and Agent 47 got shot after the mission “Curtains Down” in Hitman Blood Money. So chronologically, Agent 47 making his escape is the last mission of the game

Idk how the fuck me and my brother managed to endure the beldingford manor and the hotel ghost and not get fuckin' nightmares back in the day. This game was dark especially compared to the more recent hitman games.
