    Time traveler: *sneezes* The timeline:

  • @AIrfan-cz2kt

    @AIrfan-cz2kt

    2 жыл бұрын

    So in that timeline, Hitler didn't went mad and start WW2. Rather he funneled Germany's extreme industrialization and modernization to it's infrastructures and economy rather than war machines, this initiating a booming Second Renaissance in Europe. While in Russia, Stalin was actually a benevolent and caring leader towards his people, producing this sense of loyalty into each of Soviet Russia's citizens that would see unity among all, bringing about a promising future for the country because of Stalin's rapid industrialization policies backed up with Russia's vast resources in raw materials and manpower. Thus after sometime, being situated very close to each other, Germany and Russia decided to forge a friendly pact with each other that promise many technological opportunities for Russia, and access to the much needed raw materials for Germany. And with Germany's modernization with Russia's vast resources and efficiency, the pact would eventually guide both the countries forth in the world stage leaving behind even the likes of the ocean-spanning British Empire or the economic titan that is the USA. Hitler and Stalin watches behind the scenes in satisfaction while exchanging stories and drinking coffee, then decided to make this music video as a sign of their mutual friendship and understanding. And then play it during the annual celebration of the German-Russia bond to troll the heck out of both of their countries and it's citizens, which many would find embarrassment but also joy to see that even their beloved, strong leaders is human like them with the utterly childish display in the film that greatly contrasts their usually strong and stern images. Thus bringing about a sense of a German-Russia unity. What a timeline to live in.

    To be fair, 100 years from now when WW2 is no longer relevant to most people and all those who remember it are dead, I can see Disney doing an animated musical about it, in the same vein as Mulan or Pochahontas, where the conflict is overly simplified and its tragedies ignored for the sake of marketability.

    @Hemingway What I meant was an animated retelling of the war. Anastasia was mostly about a girl finding her lost family, not the revolution. She could have been the lost heiress to some rich business tycoon and the story would have been largely the same. That's why I used Mulan and Pocahontas as examples. Those movies actively focus on war, with the Hun invasion of China and the conflict between Native Americans and settlers being key to the story.

  • @vico7727

    @vico7727

    I argue that it is too early to make a WW2 movie like Mulan and Pocahontas because the events are still too well known and any attempt to change history to make the war marketable to children will be seen as insulting.

    @Mort Silverstine Well, Hitler benefitted a lot from the previous leaders of Germany. Franz von Papen had made changes that were made to make the economic downfall to last. less long (by the way there was a tradeoff which was that the current situation would be bad). The point is that Hitler didn't inherit an economy in free fall. Hitler also included forced laborers and part-time workers as employed and gave money to people who would marry (which took women out of the workforce). Here is a video that explains the situation perfectly (and where a lot of the points I made come from). kzread.info/dash/bejne/mXWstbidgdLMg5M.html PS I kind of agree with you on Hitler not being a dick. He definitely was not a madman; that is a myth that some of his generals made up about him after the war so they could blame Hitler for the mistakes they made during the war.
