Hitchcock Aces by Darwin Ortiz | Hidden Gems #9
This is a video series from Magic TV which will be taking place every week on Wednesday's at 9pm. In this video series Craig looks at a hidden gem that everyone has forgotten about. This might be from a Penguin Live, an Alakazam Academy, a Masterclass or even a Masterclass. It could also be a routine from a book or a magazine or an ebook.
Each week Craig will perform the trick in question, talk about why it is so good and where you can learn it from. If you are trying to look from a hidden gem this is the video series for you.
This week Craig looks at Hitchcock Aces by Darwin Ortiz. This is one of the strongest four ace assemblies ever created. It packs a real punch and has a kicker ending that nobody sees coming.
Thanks for watching.

Craig that was fantastic. You talk about onbeat and offbeat moments in performing -- which I've learned so much from-- but your tempo when performing-- truly amazing. Perfect execution.

I absolutely love all of Darwin's magic routines and theory, but I've yet to see any performance from him that I enjoyed.

Hmm, there’s a version by Ortiz where the change happens under specs hand. Uses a John Carney move. It’s very very strong

Joshua Jay has a great version of this using the "overlap" gimmick. Good stuff.

If you don't own Strong Magic then don't spend another magic dime on anything else until you have bought and read it.
