Are running boards next? The step looks awesome. And what are those rear windows you have? I've never wanted rear windows but those look killer.

I’m wondering if I could add this step to my 2016 Sprinter that already has a hitch installed that MAY be using those screw hole positions. My 2016/144/4x4 is a cargo Merc upfitted by Van Specialties up in Oregon.

The holes that mount the hitch typically are in a different place than these holes

Hey John / Owl. Any idea....Is the step compatible with the Kuat Pivot v2 Bike Rack 'swing away' adapter? I can't tell if it would clear the step from the video

We have not used it with that specifir rack but it should not impact hitches and racks. You should be able to use it normally.

Gotta use a kuat hi/lo extension or one similiar. Swing-away not long enough

I feel like all the gear I'm installing on the back of my van (sherpa + 1ups for bikes + GLSS) is weighing the rear end down. How much does the step weigh?

Step is about 14lbs. Have you done suspension? A build-out will overload the springs not our gear. Revels and Storytellers are basically on the bump stops after the build out

@@owlvansengineering nope, in a stock Revel’s suspension. Thanks for the tip, and the weight. That’s a very nice step!
