Varun leaves with his elder brother and sister-in-law in one side of Calcutta. Varun is a Bengali. While studying Varun's goal is to become a skilled storyteller and screenwriter of the Bengali film.Varun has a love affair with a girl named Priti from the same region. Although Varun's sister-in-law support him in his script Writing , Varun's elder brother who is a government employee does not support him at all. Varun approaches famous producers, famous directors , famous actresses and tell them with confidence that his story will be a hit. But no one reads his scripts rather they tease him with the word hit that comes out of his mouth. Varun become frustated and starts drinking. Seeing his condition his elder brother Anirban decided to sell their properties and produce the film himself and he do so. But his sister -in-law who supported him with is writing expressed her fear for the future due to the loss of the property.The night before the film's release, Varun committed suicide and wrote in a letter, "Bengalis pay attention when the bengali genius dies". After Varun's death, the film based on his story was released and the film became a hit.
