Hi Cory. I just wanted to tell you how much this little video of yours means to me. My life has been quite tumoltous recently, burnout and stress abound, and i could feel myself sliding over the edge of depression. So three weeks ago, i decided to redistribute my time fiercely, and start doing things for myself. On the top of the list of my new goals, was finally learning how to play the Ukulele i got for my birthday last year, having never played it for more than a couple days consecutively before giving up. Following your beginners videos, i have gotten into the habit of practicing at least 20 minutes every days, strumming along to chords and practicing a bit on some of my favorite easy songs. My main goal though, was to learn this song, and play it for my family by Christmas, showing them what i have learned on the instrument they got me. They goal was to have it down in a months time. Tonight i nailed it Your instructions, your energy and your tireless dedication to make this instrument accessible and fun to play, has helped me make music for the first time in years, and when i get home every day, i itch to get my hands on my instrument, just so i can learn something more from you.
