Hit And Run Drunk Driver Tries Reporting Car Stolen, Gets Arrested Instead

Ойын-сауық

Hit and run on foot, that is.
This episode is interesting, as it shows some fundamentals of investigative technique. I'm curious to see what y'all's thoughts are and will leave the intro at that... other than to mention that the subject's shirt probably didn't help his story much.
Enjoy.

If you dont' drink for 7 days, and drink on the 8th day... it's against every law of physics to suggest that you have changed anything about the previous 7 days. Not drinking isn't going to make your life any better, it's just gonna make you sober, expecting anything else is irrational, anyone who's promising you more is apart of a new aged religion. That doesn't mean that you don't choose to make not drinking a priority of yours. don’t be concerned with what others think of how you do it. But I don't think someone that drunk is qualified to do those things. She wasn't pleading with the officers to let him off scotch free. Nor was she blaming them. She told him to stop lying, and tell the truth. Some people parent differently and it's definitely not fair to assume she's enabling. Maybe that's the first time she's done that? I have parents who also taught me to deal with consequences of my actions. I was put out on my ass a few months after I turned 18. But my brother who has the same parents is doing coke and treating us like garbage. Parenting doesn't always equate to how children turn out.

No witnesses who actually identified the kid, nobody who saw him driving. If the mom was smart, she'd know that they don't even have grounds to arrest him for DWI, since nobody saw him driving. I never drove drunk but I was down a path that it could’ve become the norm and I’m just thankful it was the one time and I didn’t hurt anybody. No more alcohol, if I do somebody has my keys even if I intend on having one beer but it’ll be a long time, if ever, that I’ll even think about that. He doesn't need his mother petting his head, he needs his father kicking him in his ass and telling him from the moment he can understand, you don't lie when you screw up, you take responsibilit for all your actions, respect the police, and apply the golden rule to every situation. I'm sure he would want the police to protect his interests if he was on the receiving end of this foolish act. Last but not least, when you're given an opportunity to make it right (as well as reducing your infractions), you take it!

Mom's coddling is a GINORMOUS part of the problem! I was always more afraid of letting my mother down than anything in the world. So I tried my best not to ever do anything wrong. I just cared that much about her that I didn't want her to be disappointed in me. And she was a single mom.

My son was18 and still living at home.when he was arrested and taken to jail for possession of a small amount of cocaine. This was pre cell phones and I did not hear the house phone I was painting, so he called his grandpa , who finally got hold of me. He had to spend the night in jail. I TOSSED his room, and had a legal pad 3 full pages long of chores he had to do for me and his grandparents before he was let off of our “ house arrest”. No further problems.and he had to,pay back every cent of bail money.

Love your fake internet tough mom story to try to talk up a point. Nothing personal by the way, because most people make up fake stories to get a point across too.
