@@philipb1059 being a dev, not of apex but a solo one, working in a team is about the pipeline. There are genuinely talented people in this dev team - but you see how many are banned. Their anti-cheat can’t keep up with the new cheating software that bypasses the old one. If anything, they are probably just letting it fester while they figure out a way to combat it. A new anti-cheat gets bypassed in a month, so it comes down to whatever long term solution they can think of. Just wished they would do it faster.

I don’t think that the game devs caring is the only issue. You can see like 20 people getting banned mid game. The real issue is either that the anti cheat is simply bad at cheat detection or they just don’t have enough manpower to scout and ban these cheaters based on evidence. So if anyone to blame it’s the EA/Respawn for not putting enough money, time or people into their anti-cheat division.

EAC is bad but Fortnite uses it and Apex gives root access allowing people to spawn loot and things like that. Fortnite uses the same AntiCheat and doesn't have these problems because they aren't idiots. these problems have existed since Titanfall and now the game just has a larger player base. EA never wanted the game so any aren't going to fully support it so any money it makes is free money but the devs have shown multiple times they truly don't care

I mean the only way to fight aimbot is to aimbot. Not saying I agree with it I hate cheaters they genuinely have never gotten laid once, but still the fact stays the same, you have to cheat to fight cheaters. Idk what apex needs to do to get this to stop, ip banning, or phone number authentication to sign into your account, so if a cheaters account gets banned they literally have to change their phone number in order to make another account and most cheaters are lazy that’s why they cheat, and won’t be willing to pay for a new number every time they get banned.

I know this might be an unpopular point of view, BUT... To be honest... It's the community's fault for continually feeding their pockets. No, I hate it when people say this. It is unrealistic and optimistic as fuck. The only time this has a remote chance of happening is when the game is already well beyond dead, basically nobody playing anymore and no chance of it coming back.

Literally the only reason why I will never grind again for a specific rank in this game. I have the time, I would also say the necessary skill and game knowledge. But hell no - I won’t let my nerves handle this one single time.

The issue is that now we silver etc. players see people like you in our lower ranks and cannot escape being matched against far better players. As a person that never made it past gold 3 I'm constantly matched with Masters etc. in any game mode.

The devs themselves make and sell the cheats. You just are all lemmings and dont understand the true hierarchy of gaming and the industry. The devs make millions more off the cheats than the actual game. Think about it. If they hide it and cover their tracks, how would anyone know?! It actually annoys me how bad it’s gotten. I literally have not played Apex in about probably a year I went from being an Apex predator to not even being able to get close to a high rank. There was legitimately a match where the enemy team was literally invisible.

they have to do something i mean they can watch the top 10 preds and hammer ban the cheater in higher ranks. theyll be discouraged to star from a new account and also covering the most loyal people playing.

Need to host an anti cheat tournament. Best entry wins 10m

EA really doesn't care about it's customers. That's all you can conclude from the current state of the game.

Guys don't worry Easy Anti Cheat is continuing to drop the ball and stick to their ban wave procedure instead of ignoring code detection and looking at player reports and investigating game play.

It’s a replay from previous times. During the winter express situation where numbers were dropping and lack of content and cheating they brought back 3 strikes and promised changes we all ran back, Coincidentally they dropped an event where they charged double the amount and instead of seeing what was happening we called others “broke” for not buying it. I took a break from apex and went to play cod and I can tell you cod is just as bad if not worse. It’s not just respawn it’s gaming as a whole. They’ll post that they banned 6k accounts but only 1k were actual cheaters, the rest found a glitch to use an heirloom in the firing range or put a gun camo on their favorite gun (COD)

The only way for Respawn to fix the cheater problem is to have so many of them, people stop buying skins or stop playing the game.

One main thing they can do is take the game from free to play, to like 20$. Not a lot, but not too little that people will make 30 alts just to cheat with. It's the biggest problem with free to play shooters, is the cheaters because they don't have to worry about shit. They can just make another email, and account as quick as they get banned. This is probably the most improbable thing to happen due to it being free to play since launch. People will also just think they are more money hungry than they already are. If they were to make it 20$ for the game I would cut back on skin prices though, to sort of even out the amount people spend. The main thing that is needed is the anti-cheat updates dawg. Most of the simplest cheats will easily get through to Pred before even getting banned. I can't say much though because as time goes on, the easier cheating in games is gonna become, most huge franchises have a hacker problem now. Not nearly as big as Apex's cheater problem, but cheater problems nonetheless. We just need a big group of people that make GOOD anti-cheat software easily accessible. As near impossible as that also may be, Easy AntiCheat and whatnot is not goung to cut it anymore, people get around it too easily.

The cost of the game doesn't matter, tale tarkov for example, eod was like $250 Australian and oce servers are the worst for the number of cheaters per raid not to mention people shelling out for the cheats or shelling out for a whole other pc just to use dma which also costs money😂 how bad they gotta be to spend thousands to cheat in a game.

Uhm.. you probably never bother to research and just say things at the top of your head. Hacks/Cheats are not cheap. It can range from $20 to $80-100 a month. If these cheater can spend for cheats, what is $20 for an Apex account? Yes there are free options for cheats, but those can/probably easily ban-able/detected. Private cheats often last long especially in Apex where the cheaters are winning (The devs don't care)

@@RythmofficialTM It won't help. Sure it will make it harder but putting a paywall doesn't work. Why you think Valorant is free? Do they need to put $20 paywall for entree? Right now your suggestion is not fixing the problem, is patching. To fix the problem is to change the anti cheat, entirely. Patching your way is just going to make "normal" user suffer, not the hacker. Players number will drop. Rank will be obsolete. Then it will truly become a dead game. You honestly think Respawn will do that? Of course not.

This is why I don't play BR anymore

I believe that people from the original Titanfalls and Titanfalls 2 may be sabotaging Apex due to the issues with the games in the past

8:45 and this is why I quit this game YEARS ago. Hit registration is still shit.

You remember when it was only one or two cheaters a day? Now it's 2 or 3 squads every match.

I know how to draw the attention of developers to the problem, if hackers are interested, then you can try to secretly reduce aimassist to 0.2-0.3 or completely remove it on the ALGS arena or even in ordinary games. I think then it would make rollers cry and do some wave in social media.

The cheaters are getting out of hand and it’s really pissing me off! Me and my duo have been running into so many cheaters, and on top of that my game continuously crashes or gets error codes, Sometimes it doesn’t do it sometimes it does, but mainly in ranked this entire season alone, I’ve lost at least 2K RP from all of that and never got it back I would’ve been in diamond by now, but no! I deserve the RP I’ve lost.

I realy thought it was me thinking i rotted in this game or something. Thinking that they have rly good reaction but it looks like every game there is a cheater

i started playing apex only in season 9 after being a long time cod fan and dropped everything for apex. lately i have been so frustrated with apex getting beamed by an iron sight havoc dying in 2 seconds from 300m away by a level 21 lifeline has just been driving me up the wall i want to sell it all and pick up bowling.

Every fps I love starts out amazing for first few years then eventually its so popular hacks are widespread it becomes unplayable. APEX died around 22-23 somewhere around there. Good 4-5 yr run

I will be happy when this game finally dies. EA deserves it.

I remember the last time i had fun with this game was playing mixtape with a closed group of 6 people... you can't even play this anymore because you don't know if the guy is good or if he's just cheating after beaming you from 100m away with a havoc.

Guys there is no need to worry, there's a battle pass rework coming.

90%of the ranked lobbys now we all need to stop playing apex then they will do something but ppl keep playing it keep spending money on the game and the still complain 😂

This game is cancer

Im going to start cheating and raging Apex for revenge. EA banned my Season 1 account and refuses to tell me why and says they wont unban my account. I do not cheat and I do not say foolish things in chat, yet they banned me. They just say, "We've reviewed and determined you violated our ToS. Read our ToS here." Soooooo....i think ill just go buy some hacks and rage servers. Sorry guys.

We should all start cheating and shit up pubs and ranked and mixtape so much that the game is unplayable and their SALES drop, pretty much the only thing that will cause them to do anything about it (and by anything I mean fix it for half a season since anything else is impossible for them and the shittest anticheat of all time - battleye)

the worst are cheaters with thousands of kill and high lvl. in the beginning of season 20 2,000 players where band averge lvl was around 1000

If I was forced to play apex diamond+ ranked for a living, I'd end it all

i watched this happen live. i heard someone say recently cheating should be a criminal act. i actually think it should. this is affecting people's livelihoods. when somebody's act of sabotage prevents you from being able to put food on the table, that sounds like cause for legislative prohibition to me. EA is big enough that it could reasonably lobby government, since it's arguably killing their game.
