actually, robin and superboy first met and teamed up against poison ivy and metallo in a two issue series

......yeah this is a different young justice....the comic came out in the mid to late 90's but another comic was made later on about the young justice that came out in 2011.....or was it 2012..I'm not too sure which year the show came out

So was it me or I actually prefer Leather jacket Superboy than t-shirt wearing angst one? I like Young Justice (better than what Geoff Johns wrote on Superboy) but I kinda like the 90's Superboy from a few comics that I read.

Man, it's great to rewatch the young justice tv show and look at all the comic references. =D it'd be cool if you did a history of the tv show, but it's totally optional (I don't want to sound pushy)

Young Justice has always been my favorite. It was the perfect blend of goofy and action. I really feel like the TV show totally didn't use any of that amazingness which really makes me sad.

Robin and Superboy first met in a one-shot where they fought Metallo and Poison Ivy. Actually I remember when that was a big deal since fans wanted Superboy and Robin to meet for some time.

I'm a big Robin fan, no matter who's wearing the costume (though Tim is my favorite out of all of them). Watching this & seeing your numerous Robin related videos (I just found out about you last night) feels so nostalgic that I want to go back to read them all again. There is one thing that I wanted to know that you missed. Before the Graduation Day storyline with the Titans, Young Justice had a crossover story with Spyboy a year prior. Why no mention of that?

ncmedic yeah but at least Darkseed makes some sense phonetically. I've also heard "Darksayd" and "Darksed". :/ soo I think the Darkseed version can be excused.

I just wanted to thank you for all your videos. You've allowed me to catch up on so many favorite comics that I'd lost touch with back in the 1980s. I kind of had to give up collecting back then 'cause... Well, my first wife sold off or stole my entire comic collection during our divorce. 10,000 comics from as far back as the '60s. I got a little depressed and just went off of collecting comics for decades. I buy the occasional graphic novel now, but don't follow any individual titles at all. The joy was destroyed. But thank you for bringing part of that joy back into the life of a guy who began reading comics back in 1960! You ROCK!

I really love watching your videos because every time I learn some thing new about my favorite hero's and Villon's. The comic book you bring up really make me want to read them and that's really cool that you provide the comic book series and editions they are. Thanks for making interesting video that make me want to read more comic books.

Impulse, Robin and Superboy were in the same vicinity in Final Night, but also during Zero Hour in 1994. Impulse first officially met Superboy in Superboy and the Ravers #7, shortly after Final Night.

I'd just like to point out that Bonnie King Jones was a retired superhero I thing Green arrows side kick. the original Arrowete. And actually pushed Cissie to be a hero even when she didn't want to. This put her at odds with Wonder girls mom who was aginst teen heros and actually had wg's dad (zeus) take her powers and weapons away.

No I didnt, he never dies in Young Justice...He dies in Teen Titans, YEARS after Young Justice ended.

I've been thinking.....what if all the members of the original young justice team (the first six) were sent into an alternate universe where they were the first super powered being ever! With no one to guide them or hold them back, how would their paths diverge?

The reason why the young justice show is so different from the comics is because it's not an adaptation of the main DC universe, it's a whole other reality on it's own. The young justice reality, is Earth-16 in the 52 multiverse, while mainstream DC is earth-0 or new earth.

My theory on that is that it's an adaptation of several key events in the DCAU and the comics. First is Barry Allen giving his life to save the day by trying to contain an explosion. The second is Wally West in Justice League Unlimited almost being consumed by the speed force when he takes down the Brainiac/Lex Luthor hybrid. I figure that YJ killed kid flash (Wally West) both to pull at the emotional strings of the audience while harkening back to both of these events.

I also hate that season because the original members were like all grown up and some were like off the team i think they should've kept the original charecters in their teens and put the new charecters in while they were still in their teens (except for the 3rd robin and night wing) so they could've had more seasons and also kept MM and superboy together (which I know they were in the very last episode) and also left out impulse i dont like impulse and also kept kid flash alive he was and still is my favorite charecter

Kaddie carter Yes, that's true. But it can still be the partial inspiration for the event in YJ. Combine the speed force consuming Wally West with the heroic sacrifice of the Flash from the comics and there you go, fit it around the events of the show, and there you go.

The three founding members, Robin, Superboy, and Impulse, were white males, later obtaining female teammates by the fourth issue. The cartoon adaptation aimed for more diversity in the team. Artemis' mother is white in the comics, but is portrayed as Vietnamese in the comics, making her mixed-race. You're right that it's not Beastboy, because Beastboy wasn't in the Titans at that time. The Red guy is Kid-Devil...kinda a famous member of the Titans.

On the show young justice it says that robin, aqualad, and kid flash(Wally West) started young justice.

Yes, but that's not how it went in the comics. Just like Teen Titans, Young Justice uses the name of the comic book team and pays homage to the comics, but they do NOT adapt the comics.

One thing I like about the YJ show: they changed Bart's backstory and made BFFs with BB. One thing I don't like: No bromance between Kon and Bart and Tim. Urrrgggghhh...

Why is the cartoon more like teen titans but it was set as young justice however impuls was sort of in it in the cartoon Impuls was in the show for a short beriod of time and then wally died and bart becam kid flash also can you make a history of Bart Allen video because I realy whan't to know how Bart died :D

No, the creator of the character said to say it like "Darkside" But it is kind of fun to say it differently.

Actually I can buy Cassie as the leader of Young Justice mostly because she was trained by Wonder Woman & Donna Troy who are Amazon Warriors and are natural born leaders, besides who else can lead this team Secret is mentally unstable, Superboy just looks out for himself, Impulse is far too concerned with being the class clown & Arrowette was gone by this point

I'm not sure. I know that most of the DCAU pronounces it "Dark-Side" but given that comics are written and the ie combination can be pronounced different ways "Darksied" is acceptable. Unless they have context clues, such as Etrigan rhyming his name with something.

Techno Bacon True, and creator intent isn't something that's unimportant. But it's also not all important. Comics deviate all the time from the original intent of their creator. Characters get deeper and grow. Sometimes names change over time as well. Just look at the arguments on how to pronounce Cthulhu. The creator said once it was pronounced Cah-Too-Hloo but today a lot of folks prefer Cah-thool-oo. The work never really makes it clear on its own.,I figure as long as everyone understands what the speaker is referring to the pronunciation isn't really important, especially if the character is an alien.

No. In the comics, Jason Todd was still dead during that team run. The comics ended in 2003, and Jason came back to life as red hood in 2005. In the TV show, the writers have confirmed that Jason both joined the team and died during the timeskip
