The young fans & new fans most likely don't know what the Terrible Towel stands for. Most of them don't know how to wave the towel, let alone the history behind it.
This video explains what the inventor, Myron Cope had in mind when he created the Terrible Towel.
By the way, the Terrible Towel should be used BEFORE the snap to bring good things to the Steelers Nation. Of course, we all know to use it in celebration, but few remember the miracle powers that lay within the Terrible Towel.

And strangely EVERY team in EVERY sport just so happens to bring out their own fake ass towel come playoff time like its a new idea. If its so lame, I'd imagine everybody should quit copying the Terrible Towel and figure out their own shit.

@@ZDiddy7777 Exactly, people hate the Steelers because deep down they know the entire organization is THE CLASS of the league, period! Why does every team try to have a towel if its so lame???
That’s a really nice video. There’s one head coach that don’t deserve to be in. It is the one who can’t get the job done.
