We really need a video on Jungle Master Mode. No other enhancement mode elevated the quality of the fights quite like the firing jets, they were the coolest shit.

I'm happy to finally hear a real reason for the glasses morphers other than "they didn't want weapon morphers" which can be disproven in this season with the White Rangers Morpher

Jungle fury had the best theme song in the entire disney era.

i actually found sunglasses that looked extremely close to the solar morphers although i wasn't able to buy them, I was bummed on my way home lmaoooo

The solar morphers were a really interesting and unique style of morpher that also helped in playing into the back to basics vibe Jungle fury is going for before this season you'd generally see some form of commicator, wrist strap or cell phone morpher. I'm honestly glad they went with their own thing instead of just using the gekichangers while they were nice and all. I always appreciate when power rangers add their own spin and come up with creative stuff of their own.

Tbh with you I'd say this is honestly much cooler than the sentai changers and this is coming from a sentai fan. Hell, I'd love to own a pair of those prop glasses they had in the show.

On my end I liked the fist devices much better since I never liked the sunglasses even before I knew about sentai, I felt it was easier to mimic the transformation pose and now that I’m older and more learned I can appreciate the fact that the transformation pose is basically them asking for a match in the traditional Chinese martial arts way since this is a series based on that.

I grew up on the samurai rangers so I never really knew about this, I remember having a CD of one of the classic power ranger shows can't remember the name but it was at least pre-2000s

as someone that wears glasses i loved these as a kid. I didnt have to use sunglasses i just used mine as the "morpher" and it was great to imagine my glasses as something as cool as a power ranger morpher back then

Jungle Fury came out in the time of my life where I was falling off of Power Rangers, but still aware of the new seasons, if that makes sense. So I knew Jungle Fury had come out, but never watched it. That being said, despite never watching, the suit designs for this season are some of my favorites. Probably Top 3. They looks so sick

I adored these morphers, they were stylish, and rad as heck. Great video.

Solar morphers are cool as hell

Funny fact: Jungle Fury is one of the only season without a battlizer (lost the chance for two more toys: the morpher and the figure).

I’ll never count Mighty Morphin as it did nothing with it, and they weren’t worn as buckles outside the pilot. Just awkwardly behind them where they couldn’t be seen

i think that the theory for not wanting the morpher to be also a weapon could be held true it's just that jungle fury and dino charge were just made by different production companies with different opinions at those times

That doesn’t make sense. BANDAI America had the master toy license for Jungle Fury and Dino Charge and is the decider of what toys are made and why. Until Hasbro bought it, it’s always been the same company.

I don't know if its just what little Sentai footage was used in Ninja Steel or if it was actually seldom used in Ninninger might have also led into the decision in Ninja Steel's case. Aoninnger's actor is left handed, which brings up the thought of how many rangers are actually left-handed and if having fewer weapon-based morphers would be better as since technically someone else does step in for 95% of all suited fights (or reuse footage in the case of Power Rangers) that the grid could partially be in control, so this can be largely ignored

They main reason why they changed the morpher in ninja steel from the sword to the the star weapon was mainly cause the Star weapon didn’t sell well in Japan as basically was only sold cause it came with Kininger’s star, but later on in the toyline,,they sold the star on its own so it basically meant you didn’t have to buy the star weapon anymore. But then switching made it so PR fans now would want to get both.

BANDAI is the decider of what toys are made before the show is in production. Whether it’s Disney or Saban holding the franchise doesn’t matter. A lot of people don’t understand that so I’d understand if you didn’t, but BANDAI had always been the main say, as is the case for Super Sentai in Japan.

It wasn’t the exact same concept, but it was similar. They still used the Morphin Brace, they just made a gimmick item to go along with it to make it so fans would want to buy the figures to collect them. It definitely work cause I bought nearly all the figures from BM 😂

I still say the Jungle Fury sunglasses Morpher are still one of my favorite

jungle fury did what ninja steel did poorly, making the morpher cool (i hate ninja steel morpher)

See this is another reason why I am more of a power ranger fan because I am a firm believer of you don't have to copy the sentai note for note all the time. I really don't like when Sentai Purists say it ruined this or that when it doesn't. All you are doing is just saying you don't like change. I don’t think the issue is that they didn’t used the geki changers but rather how the sunglasses don’t really fit with jungle fury leaning way into the kung fu setting more. Ironically the sunglasses work in Gekiranger since they have their gear made from a sports company but Jungle fury scratched the sports company element so the sunglasses just feel out of place imo

I'm sorry, I hate these Morphers with a burning passion. They weren't cool, they weren't hip, they served zero purpose in combat, and it's reflective once again of these companies thinking they know what kids like. The gauntlets were much better as a representation of what the season was about.
