This Aleut became very famous, albeit posthumously. He is considered an Orthodox martyr. And many Orthodox residents of Alaska know him, honor and respect him.

question, why is yakutat re-introduced after its burning in 1805? Wikipedia says that it was never colonized again when RAC still held Alaska

@@kutwor5506 Найти какие либо архивы колонизаторов практически невозможно. Они наверняка есть, но поисковик заполнен обобщённой информацией. Помнится был один сайт где были некоторые архивы колонизаторов, но было это давно и как он называется я забыл. Вообщем желаю удачи в деле.
