Fred Beneby has made it a point to recount and recollect dark events that happened in The Dania Beach West Lawn Cemetery around the 1930s and 40s. A wrong has been made right in 1986 and the city is working on making more adjustments to heal the wounds of a dark past. Mr. Beneby was worried that he may not always have a clear enough mind to tell his story accurately so we listened and captured his memories.
