Due to age constraints I no longer have a pair of these gorgeous animals. Instead I make do with watching your sweetie pies and it always leaves me smiling. Love it.

I Love your sight! I have had three chihuahuas over thirty five years. With no kids, my chihuahuas have been my babies. I have spent the last year in nursing homes and had to leave my thirteen year old baby girl with my father. She is happy and has become attached to my dad. I miss her every day and watching you with your sweetie pies makes me smile. Thank you for sharing .

Same with me I was raised up loving animals and my uncles are farmers my father was farming too Always raised around different animals always loved animals we had chickens and pigs and dogs and cats monkeys And I always wanted a horse so I got a horse when I was 12 that was my dream I’ve always love animals just like you there what makes me happy in my life I love my children to and my grandchildren now and they all love animals too absolutely love your Show you’re so helpful to all of us I’m sure everyone can stay the same learned so much from you thank you for this program it’s awesome🥰😁👍💕

Oh Tina. You're the dog for me. I had 3 dogless years before I got Dempsey in January. My previous dog was a rescue mongrel called Dee and she looked like a little fox. We got old together and she ended up being almost blind and got dementia. I shouldn't laugh but she would walk into a room then kind of go 'What did I come in here for?' My wee Dempsey is my pal. We understand each other and it's a real 'I love you too' when we look at each other. I got my Chihuahua when he was absolutely the right dog for me and I don't care who thinks he's too small to be a proper dog. He's my boy. I might adopt a bitch from Dempsey's breeder next spring as there is a little girl he's going to retire. Joyous !! Xx

New subscriber! I’m so glad I found this channel! Been on a watching spree! Your babies are so precious! 😍 I have 2 rescued Chis. One deer head approximately 17 who escaped an Amish puppy mill & one apple head, 10 yrs. The apple head was neglected in a playpen for 5 yrs. Never taken out & just used for breeding. 😢Thankfully the lady was retiring from breeding and just gave her to me. She presses her cheek against my mouth every morning to wake me & get kisses. Such a little love but can be quite feisty too. A lot of personality. The deer head is quite docile & never barks at people. She even loves the mailman! I guess this differentiation is common among the 2 types. Thanks for all of your fun informative videos! Love, Shelly 💖

I love your Channel and I watch you all the time. The best thing about your channel is that you answer comments honestly and your sense of humor shines through your comments. As everybody else that answers you I'm one of the ones that just longed for having a long-haired Cutie Pie Face little one. I have three Lolli Lulu and Finney. All girls Finney a long-haired. But even though her face is beautiful because she is tricolor with a pink nose and golden eyes her legs are so long and the hair on her chest never grew long and the hair on her back kind of stands up but her ears and her tail or beautiful and her hair is so soft but most of all her personality is just tremendous. But I so want long hair that looks like it's supposed to. maybe one day God will bless me with that. Keep up the good work! Thank you for sharing, Nadine. I know EXACTLY how you feel. They really are family members and I cannot imagine life without them either. WOW!! You have 2 very elderly babies: 17 and 15!!! That's truly amazing. I bet they are so in tune with you and know your every sound and body language. My Tina never ceases to amaze me how much she knows and trusts me. She'll stand behind me in the kitchen when I'm cooking (In hopes I drop something she likes), but she knows to stand out of my way in case I don't see her and trip on her. Then if I do drop something, all I have to do is tap my toe in front of it and she knows I'll stand there while she safely comes to get it before going back to her safe zone where she knows I'm no longer paying attention to her. It's the most amazing thing. I swear she speaks English (and I speak Tina) 😍😍 Thank you for being part of our community and thank you for being a responsible pet owner who loves your babies as much as they should be.

I came across ur channel when I was doing all my research about my little apple head before I bought him. He was 400 no papers but he is so sweet and crazy attached too me he is 10 weeks and so tiny I want too train him.

I am trying to watch all of your videos so I can learn more about chihuahuas. We just got our sweetie teacup chihuahua about two weeks ago. He is 12 weeks old and he’s a handful BUT I enjoy it. Like he trots/marches in public and all cool walking at home. More personality than I expected from chihuahua. I’m sorry about Miss Tina ❤️ she is beautiful!

Just seen this...didn't know how you got into sharing your dogs.when we want our Tia to go out for pee pee she jumps on the chair rolls on her back!! It's now her habit lol. I’m so glad I found your channel. I just purchased a Chihuahua Yorkey mix for $100. I didn’t know if the girl would find someone to take him, so I had to get him. He looks like a Chihuahua. I don’t see any Yorkey in him at all. He’s reddish tan with white feet. He’s so adorable I can’t stop kissing him. I’ve been watching your videos for help with biting. Going on 4 months old. He kisses me in between bites. Everyone says he’s cuteness overload 😘. He’s really smart. I bought a pan from chewy that you put a pad in it and he walks in and goes to the bathroom. He goes almost every time already. We praise him so much and he loves it. Did I say I can’t stop kissing him 😘. I know he’s teething and I keep telling him no bit give kisses. we have about 7 deer head chihuahuas at home we love them just the same they may not have the same baby doll faces as the apple heads but they have the most funny personalities and my sister has one to help her with her pstd and just loves her very much

we got an almost one year old chihuahua at the beginning of June she had never had a collar or harness, no leash never been outside, and as far as we can tell now, she was never socialized at all.. I believe she was kept in a kennel alone for much of that time. We are lucky she is pad trained and finally will let us pet her.. when we are lying down.. (I bought her stairs so she could look out the living room window and get up to the bed) She loves to sleep with us on the bed.. yet only now in Oct will she stay on the bed if one of us gets up .. . she is finally letting me and hubby pet her a little on the couch after we have dinner.. She does not like any humans.. and we are not sure about dogs or cats... We have managed to pick her up a few times and she is good, letting me cut her nails.. my question: I dont want to stress her or rush her.. yet we have family we would like to have over.. Am I being too cautious and can we socialize her at this age?? I walk with a cane so am not the fastest thing on two feet.. Love your channel.. your Chi's are gorgeous

Elaine Lindsay hi there, thank you so much for your message. And thank you even more for caring for that sweetie girl who needs your love. You and your husband are doing excellent getting her caught up on socialization. She was obviously extremely neglected and the only way to overcome that is with lots and lots of love and patience. Sometimes it takes years for them to overcome that sort of neglect. That poor baby. So it’s interesting to me she likes to sleep in your bed but wouldn’t stay on the bed when you would get up. So that means she’s still feeling somewhat intimidated by humans ... she trusts you enough to lay next to you when you’re down on her level, but when you stand she gets scared. So I would recommend you go ahead and have company over but start small. Maybe just one or two people at first. Make sure you don’t pick her up while they’re there visiting. It’s better for her to feel ignored by everyone than to feel intimidated so I recommend to just let her stay down on the floor maybe in her soft bed or den crate with the door open so she knows she is safe and can come out on her own terms. Of course if she does decide to approach your guests, it’s best if they reward her with a tiny piece of meat. But I don’t recommend for the guest to initiate, let that be her choice. At first she just needs to get used to strangers coming to visit her mommy and daddy. It might take several times, but eventually she will likely approach one of your guests when they’re seated and seem to be ignoring her. That’s when she’ll feel most comfortable. Keep up the good work and maintain your patience, she wants to love and trust you. 😍

More videos on breeding these babies please. How dangerous is it? How often do you need a vet involved? When should you get the vet involved? What do you need to look for. What do you look for to know if she will be a good breeder?

I have seen several of your videos talking about nutrical supplement... I was wondering if that is something that can or should be used for small dogs into there adult years? My sister in law has a 10 ye old 4lbs chi that was recently diagnosed with low blood sugar. And I was wondering if that is something u can give to an adult chi?

Hello, yes Nutri-Cal can be given to any aged dog to increase blood sugar. There are other things that work too such as Karo syrup or just plain eating more food. Hope this helps 👍🏻

Hi! I just recently get a chihuahua and i really love it.. However he is always shivering when i carry him..so he doesnt seem to really be a lap dog. But i really love him and i dont want to give him back to the breeders. In fact in general.. He always shiver when we introduce new things to him. do you have some advice or perhaps can do a,video? Cos i really want to hug my puppy but i am so scared that he will have trauma..

Amber Litha-Tan shivering is actually very normal for chihuahuas. Have you ever seen “Beverly Hills Chihuahua”? He says, “we shake because we are chihuahuas” 😂 yes I think I should do a video on this. Thanks for the good idea. Don’t stop holding him because he’s shivering. Go ahead and hold him and keep introducing him to new things. The shivering is just his nervous system - Chi’s are the smallest dog breed after all and they have evolved to be on constant high alert. It’s normal to shiver - yes usually the shivers get bigger in higher stress situations but just speak calmly and assertively to reassure him you’ve got everything under control. The more he experiences with you as the calm, assertive leader of his pack, the more confident he will become - even if he never completely stops shivering 😂

rubycatt91 if you’re interested in a rescue, you can call your local animal shelter and see if they have any chihuahuas. If you’re looking to adopt a hand raises chihuahua, I would search for a local chihuahua breeder. It’s important to do your research and get to know the breeder before purchasing to make sure they’re legitimate and that they are not a puppy mill. I recommend to use this classified website to search for chihuahuas in Maryland or any other state close around you: www.PuppyFind.com, then, start calling around until you’re certain you’ve found a good breeder. It’s best to go in person (if it’s safe in your area right now with COVID) before sending any money. At the very least, ask if you can FaceTime to see the puppies and their the parents. If they give excuses why you can’t see them, I recommend to move along to a different breeder. I wish you the very best.

(not really) But he has flaws, like he never shed any of his baby teeth and never got proper teeth, he has some respiratory problems, and it's very hard to tell what breed has been mixed into his family line. People ask me if I would let him breed on their female chihuahuas. But should I? The money would be nice, but the healt difficulties seems weird to pass on. But then again, all dogs have their problems?

Bass Trammel hello, thanks for the inquiry. I wouldn’t be as concerned about not knowing what breeds have been mixed in But it is concerning that he’s got some respiratory issues. If that’s any kind of a genetic condition, it’s likely to be passed to his offspring 😥 and therefore probably not a good idea to breed him.

@@SweetiePiePets Thank you so much for replying! He has trachea collapse 1-3 times a month. I've been holding back on the breeding for 2 years, but it's nice to get some qualified input. It just hasn't felt right, and it's nice to get it confirmed.

My husband wants to breed our baby. Im just not sure because she is so tiny. Im terrified something will happen to her.

@@SweetiePiePets she's an amazing dog she weighs 10kg Tebeton spanials come from Tebet in China and are quite a rare breed I'm so lucky to have her she's amazing they were breed for the royalty of China to keep them safe but they are now days a lap dog they are an amazing dog breed and I really think you should look them up and learn a bit about them they're great I'm so lucky I've had her since I was four and I'm now in middle school and I was so lucky to get her at an spca and I love her with all my heart and I have a German Shepherd and I'm getting a Chihuahua puppy very soon and my brother has a wiener and along with our alot of other pets

Breeders get addicted to the fast money at the dogs expense !!! How can you say that you support that along with DOING THAT. No wonder the dog is blind now. A few litters .... that’s horrible . So much on the dog but at least you made a few bands . Crazy lady.
