Sektor does look like Shang Tsung in the beginning of Mortal Kombat 9 until Mortal Kombat 2 section where in Smoke chapter he is a cyborg then he and the Cyber Initiative captured Sub Zero and turned him into a cyborg calling him Cyber Sub Zero

I would really like you to cover the Bloody Roar Lore.

So is there a story behind Quad-Borg yet or is he still an enigma? I think it'd be pretty cool if it was still Sektor and he created a back up body for himself in case things went wrong and used data from his own body, Sektor's, Cyber Sub-Zero's (which he'd have access to since Sindel murdered him) and the body which would have been used for Smoke to create a more powerful body for himself. That, or they could give him Kano's MK 9 ending where his mind is put into the Lin-Kuei's computer and he basically becomes Skynet and a hive mind that controls the four surviving cybernetic bodies he has left. Honestly I'd prefer that over it being an entirely new character because then we have to wonder who this person is who has the powers of all the cyborgs.

Thought I might add that Sektor was the very first to become a cyborg and the one to do so on his own free will

Sektor was actually in the original Mortal Kombat 3 (along with Cyrax, although I can't remember if the cyborg Smoke was). Ultimate MK3 was a separate game, but essentially an update which came about a year or so later.

I'd say my favorite original Cyborgs it would be Smoke, Cyrax and Sector. Sector had some cool Fatalities. But nothing beat Cyber Smoke annihilating the entire world for no reason lol. Cyrax was always a bad ass, though I liked his Fatality arsenal though. I grew up on the first 3 games (oh man, do I remember Mortal Kombat 1 being SO controversial lol)...so it's hard for me not to be nostalgic about playing those games in Arcade, on Genesis, and N64 (Mortal Kombat Trilogy!!)...nobody bought the lame SNES version of MK1. It was all about the blood code for Sega's version. Which was the original social media...it was called talking with your grade school friends spreading the word of the blood cheat lol. ABBACAB! God damn, after 25 years ago I can't believe I remember that. It must be like the Konami code, forever imprinted in my brain.
