I really enjoy all of your Action Force history videos! It’s crazy to think that there’s whole other versions GI Joe characters out there! I love the video where you talk about coming to America, and your grandmother got you GI Joe figures. I can’t imagine what it would be like to find out some of your favorite toys are completely different, in another country. Especially when you’re a kid!

Great video. The reason Action Force was my favourite toyline and the reason I always secretly rooted for the Red Shadows is that the comics really brought the various characters to life and fleshed them out.

The Red Shadows are my favourite baddies of all time (well, maybe just after The Empire from Star Wars). My wife got me the brilliant 7" Red Jackal from Super 7 for Christmas last year. It's a fantastic tribute figure. Pity he's likely the only Red Shadow they'll release. And he's bigger than Classified and Valaverse figures so won't fit in with those displays. I absolutely dig him though. I'm still waiting on the 4" and 6" Eagle/Monster Force figures that are coming out this year. Along with the not-so-far-off-now Roboskull Mk II, these should scratch my Red Shadows itch.

That's cool! Yes, both were very good! Nice, I have seen that figure. He does look good, it's a shame about the size being bigger like you say, but I bet he makes a great stand alone figure! The Roboskull Mk 2 looks amazing ❤️ That's some itch you have lol! Thank you for watching and your comment 🙏

I may have to look into making some of these in LEGO form. I've built the HISS tank and the HAL, and have designed the SNAKE armor so making recolors of those as Red Shadow versions should be simple. All that would be missing is a way to see some of their stickers so I could make them.

That sounds amazing, i love lego. I like to see what you have done, do you have an I.G account.? As for the stickers check out B.F.T.B.com and look under toys and then AF 1983-84 then look up the vehicle and scroll through the pics and the stickers are there on most vehicles! Good luck 👍🏻

Great video! Love the inclusion of all the comic pages, I hadn’t seen any of those before. Fresh Monkey Fiction has you covered for 6” versions of Red Shadows. They previously did Red Shadows “homage” figures in their 4” Eagle Force line and look to be continuing that trend in their 6” Monster Force line. They’ve already got a couple Red Shadow troops up for preorder. Plus there’s the Roboskull MK2 kickstarter that also offers 6” scale Skeletron and Red Wolf figures.

Hasbro were able to integrate the Red Shadows into GI Joe through the acquisition of Palitoy/Kenner in 1991 hence the Devil's Due revival in 2005

I'm still hoping, as we have gotten most of the popular cobra characters, that classified starts dipping into the red shadows. i know they can't call anything action force, but they could still do a lot with it.

@@Randomgijoecollector Thanks. Crimson Guards are usually portrayed as being personally loyal to Cobra Commander himself ,BUT what if they are actually USING him . Baron Ironblood was able to brainwash the Black Major and Anton ( aka Red Jackal), so how do we know that Cobra Commander himself is also a victim of the Baron's mind washing ? Perhaps Cobra Commander is himself merely a puppet , with the Baron simply watching.
