In 1988 before Pakka Qila Saniha, The hardline nationalists of Sindh turned off the lights of Hyderabad Muhajir's areas and fired on Marriage halls, Mosques and other places where large number of people were present. Atleast 100 people died including my close relatives and cousins( all were Muhajir). Consequently, Next day more than 80 Sindhi were murdered in Karachi to in the avenge of their Muhajir brothers who were killed mercilessly in Hyderabad. Because Karachi is the main city so news from Karachi always come on limelight and the general perception permeates all over Pakistan that only MQM is killing people. Whats happening here on ground is entirely different. These Pakka Qila, Qasba and Aligarh type of Muhajir's genocide were the reasons Muhajirs supported MQM in every election. Killing isn't justifiable, but there is always two coins of the coin. At the end of the day Sindhi, Muhajir, Punjabi, Pukhtoon, Balochi and other communties are the petals of one rose namely PAKISTAN.
