True history of ladakh: Kargil district name should be changed to. Purig region , Kargil doesn't represent all the region of kargil district, kargil is just a small town , A purig represent majority of kargil district ,the purig ETHINICITY is in majority in kargil district so purig is a right name . Historically the present kargil district except (Zanskar and darchik garkhone and drass) was called purig, And leh region(nubra , changthang and upper leh and lower leh ), was called ladakh , I am talking about historically , 1:Purig lungba was a kargil region , 2:Zanskar lungba was for zanksar, 3: ladakh or maryul is for leh region( nubra, upperleh,sham, changthang,lower leh) , 4 : hanu village to gurgurdo village was called minaro people ( but the present name is aryan valley ). 5:drass was called himbabs lungba. The term purig or burig means Tibetan race , Initially the kham Tibetan was migrated from the route of zanksar to paskum, sod ,sankoo and slowly spread towards leh and other part of ladakh, In leh the mon people was already settle in gya meru village in East leh , monpeople were migrated from Arunachal Pradesh to ladakh and they used to do hunting in Mountains ladakh , In leh region the mon people were mixed with Tibetan.peopel as a result , In sham region , the shina people or brokpa people initially settle there and later mass Tibetan people from leh region was sent by king and conquer sham region ,in sham region the shina people were mixed with pure Tibetan ,it is because you can still see some people in sham region have a long nose ,big eyes and but still majority of them look Tibetan . In kargil the term purig was given because they were pure tibetan and ,later in sod region , the tha tha khan took some people from Gilgit to there and people of Tibetan got mixed there , You can still see , In shakr chikten and other kargil region peopel look almost Tibetan but in sod area becauy of mixing some people have long nose and big eyes etc which was the feature of shin people . In leh region , some trader from yarkhand( yarkhand is in West china ) Got settled there and married with local Tibetan people . But now politically present ladakh combine ( purig lungba, zanksar lungba, Minaro yul , ladakh lungba, himbabs lunga,) all of these small region and named it ladakh and it was divided into two districts, In future if we were to given district based on ETHINICITY then 1:purig lungba district (kargil ,shakar chiktan,sod , lalung ,silmo , sankoo ) 2: zanskar lunba district represent zanskar valley . 3:himbabs or shin people as drass district ) 4: minaro yul districts represent aryan valley ( hanu gongma,hanu yokma , beema, lasthang , dha, garkhone,darchik, gurgurdo ) As aryan valleys district. 5:leh district ( changthang, shey thiksey,chuchot, and tia timosgang, neymo, phyang, etc) 6:sham area( khalsi, skurbuchan, achinathang,wanla, kanji, DOMKHAR, lamayuru, lehdo etc) 7:nubra district for nubra valley . It is possible to DIVIDE ladakh into exactly 7 district so that every ETHINICITY will work to preserve their culture and language in their own way and by their own leader, Dear hakima bano please propagated my comment to mp,cec and other top officials so that they can recommend these and there will be 7 district in Ladakh

It is very unfortunate that same ethnic people of the Tibetans platue once powerful prosperous and united is now disintegrated and weak. From ladakh Dolpo sikkim arunachal and tibet.

Very informative 👍👍... Gyurmet....could you please share some details about rgyal khatoon from meme lay.. Once visited kartse khar and near the khar ,,there is the grave yard of rgyal khatoon and the locals told us that rgyal khatoon was buried there with her jewelleries...Is that true?

She was from skardu. Her name was Rgyal khatun in skardu, and Thila khatun in kartse, because she was married to Thri Namgyal king of kartse.Rgyal khatun mother of king singe Namgyal was from khapalu. And Thila khatun former Rgyal khatun from skardu, name was changed to Thila khatun. Therefore both Rgyal khatun were different personality.she was buried with jewelleries and a horse there.
