Le traité du trianon et celui de Paris en 1947 est une histoire non enseignée dans les programmes d'histoire ici en France, j'ai été élève dans années 1980 et 1990, jamais je n'ai entendu parler de ces traités, rien n'ai fait pour que l'on s'y intéresse. A noter que pour le traité du trianon nous n'étions pas seuls das le coup, les anglais étaient là aussi ainsi que les italiens. Clémenceau détestait profondément l'Autriche et la Hongrie, parce que c'était un laïque totalemnt anti-clérical, et il considérait l'empire austro-hongrois comme un vassal du Vatican. En Angleterre les dessins de propagande "it's time to end this tyrannical hellspawn named Hungary" fleurissaient dans les journaux. L'occasion était trop belle de se débarasser d'un potentiel concurrent économique. Quand les américains ont vu ce que les alliés voulaient faire avec les frontières des pays d'europe centrale ils sont partis en claquant la porte et en nous traitant d'imbéciles revanchards. Ils nous ont dit que la guerre recommencerait vingt ans plus tard, et qu'il ne faudrait pas compter sur eux dans ce cas. La suite nous la connaissons.
