Attended Catholic school for 12 years. Was the first person in my whole extended family (which are HUGE 12 in my mom's, including a priest) Left about 25 years ago right after our oldest mad his 1st communion. I thank God for showing me truth and that my children were raised in a Baptist church . . . After I left, a sister and brother left almost immediately. People don't understand that you are brainwashed ~~ even when you know it's biblically inaccurate. When I grew up, you didn't marry a non Catholic. My dad had to convert.

Just for perspective, a British soldier can't be permitted to walk into your wife's bedroom but drag queen story hour is ok for your kindergarten field trip and it will be publicly funded whether you like it or not and by the way abortion is now healthcare so we all have to chip in and pay for it. I see your point but still have trouble making the moral distinction between the two paradigms. It's literally to the point in America where a parent can be deemed abusive and or unfit if they're trying to teach their children morality or even deny them gender reassignment. I've got faith that it's in God's hands but does he require at some point that we stand on some principles somewhere? At some point secession is inevitable.
