I think it may depend on whether or not Bullseye has a gun or how fast their reactions times are. Deadshot is accurate with weapons, but Bullseye is accurate with pretty much everything.

I kinda wish they hadn't used Will Smith of all people to portray Deadshot. As Smith is always so chipper, charismatic and upbeat in his films and Deadshot is an merc who doesn't even care about his own life and is hoping to one day be killed on the job. I feel like Keanu Reeves or Nicholas Cage would've done the character justice.

Ostrander's 1987 run of Suicide Squad is pretty dope. I'm only 20 issues in, but enjoying it so far. You guys should read it for some great characterization of all members like Flag, Deadshot, Boomerang, and Enchantress. I wish Bronze Tiger could be in the movie, but what can ya do? I just hope they get the personalities right... Anyway, great video Arris, you do your homework like always.

While I think Will Smith is a great actor, I'm still not sold on his take of Deadshot. I feel like he's just playing himself as an assasin, not really going ahead to express the dark and tragic side of the character. Then again, this is all subject to change as the movie has yet to release and this was only based on what we've seen so far through trailers and clips.

I remember loving that story where Deadshot killed the senator. The senator was threatening to expose the squad and Flagg was going to kill him. Waller told Deadshot to use any means necessary to stop Flagg from killing him. Waller obviously meant for Deadshot to kill Flagg if he couldn't be stopped, but instead Deadshot killed the senator himself. He did what Waller said, just not what she meant.

Deadshot, Deathstrok and Deadpool....man so much death and so much badassary 🔥💯

Big facts

Wow, accidentally killing his bother and the having his son raped and murdered by his own mother...that would make anyone crack. I'm actually kinda glad they retconed the murder out though. Provides opportunities for him to grow as a father down the line. Things I find confusing: Why would they put Deathstroke on Suicide Squad? Or for That matter Black Manta? I mean those guys are not C-B list Villains and henchs, those guys are A listers. Those are guys the Justice League has problems dealing with and your telling me their so weak they got captured by Waller? Must be New 52 nonsense as usual.

The squad was not being controlled completely by Waller in New 52 because of an apparent fuck-up on her behalf so this guy who was brought in to run it thought it would be a great idea to hire deathstroke to join the squad (so he was not a prisoner, also no neck-bomb), it wasn't. The story with manta was that there was something about him thinking he killed aquaman (maybe he did, then aquaman was brought back or something), but he didn't feel happy about it or have any real sense of achievement from it so to put purpose to his life he decided to join the squad, not knowing how crazy it is, and on the condition of no neck-bomb. Waller being Waller planted a neck-bomb.

Deadshot is not a character who NEEDS to be white, unlike bigger staple characters like Batman, Superman.etc. No one really cares what he looks like as long as he has his mask, as thats the more iconic look he has. Black Manta wouldn't work cause he should be introduced in Aquaman's movie since thats his archnemesis. Black Spider could have worked,but I guess the film would be crowded at that point. Making Deadshot is not as big of a deal as making Nick Fury black, tbh

I really liked suicide squad but changing the race of a character is ridiculous. Keep it original to the story. I would say the something either way. I really think that they changed the race to please others to be honest which is a dumb reason. This isn't the only comic con character they did this to keep it original regardless of race seriously it's just an disappointment to fans. I'm not a comic con nerd but I can understand their frustrations.
