Same can say for Sandman and Spiderman if he wanted to could easily kill anyone marvel if they treated him right and just think Clayface and Sandman team up

Personally one of my favorite iterations of Clayface has to be the Ethan Bennett version from The Batman (2004) series. I love his slender yet menacing design, I love the fact that he's an original character, and I really love how he has a more interpersonal relationship Bruce with Ethan being his former best friend who is also one of the cops that's trying to arrest Batman; it renders Ethan's eventual transformation into Clayface, at the hands of the Joker, that much more tragic.

Clayface is one of the most dangerous villains batman has ever faced. I remember him in batman, the animated series, the Justice League episodes, and from The Batman 2004, yet he's highly underrated. Thanks for the video.

His appearance in Batman Arkham City was a surprising treat; I forgot about him right up until the end of the story mode of the game.

One of my favourite villains. And I remember watching his movie in the animated series, and his last words still haunt me. "Curtain's going down..."

There is also Ethan Bennett from the 2004 batman cartoon he is police detective and a good friend to Bruce Wayne

Ethan Bennett was an underrated Clayface and was a favorite of mine from The Batman cartoon!

That origin in Batman the animated series was amazing for him!!!!

Clay gave one of my favorite. Had his animated series toy.

My favorite Clay face moments in media is from the Harley Quinn show where he was being controlled by someone else and turned huge and earth breaking and everyone was like "really you could do that this whole time" kind of how Peter Parker doesn't use his full power

I really love Clayface in the Harely Quinn series. He’s over the top in just the right ways.

I know right!? There is so much you can do with his character and modern writers like Tom King or Chip Zdarsky could make some great stories with him!

Same here! It was Batman the animated series that got me into the character, Clay face along with The Batman 2004 when detective Ethan Bennet was kidnapped by the Joker, who later transformed him into clay face.

The "Growing Pains" episode of the New Adventures of Batman is one of the best Clayface stories. A real heart breaker...

Surely Clayface must be the Next Villain in the Batman.

First Clay Face having a Phantom of the Opera feel to it.

He needs to appear in the next batman movie. Matt hagen or basil karlo's version either one would be great.

I still hope Clayface gets a live action debut in a future Batman film!

Dunno if this is a controversial take, but my favorite Clayface is the one in the Harley Quinn series. Alan Tudyk as a hungry thespian is just too funny, and it makes a lot of sense for a character that looks like he does.

Clayface in The Batman was great. Bennet was a fun take on the character

My favorite Clayface moment was from the Batman 2004 cartoon series season 4 episode 3 Clayfaces

Clayface is underrated.

My most favorite moments of clayface was the animated series version. And Arkham City. That reveal in the end was baffling and amazing. Chef's kiss.

That episode in TAS with Tim trying to protect the little girl shook me. The Batman's Clayface vs Clayface was cool! BUT TAS Mr. Freeze will always be my favourite villain from that era. Cold and calculated. If the next Batman movie has Clayface as a villain, Will Smith is the perfect cast. Hey, it worked with RDJ!

I like the Clayface in Harley Quinn, voiced by Alan Tudyk. Interesting, but not evil.

I feel like him and scarecrow would be a deadly combo because clayface could turn into like the waynes or one of the robins while batman is filled with fear toxin

The History of Deacon Frost and the History of Man-Bat.

One of the best Clayface episodes in TAS was Growing Pains where Clayface created a little girl named Annie to scope out if it was safe. She lost her memory when she wandered away, hooked up with Robin, then sacrificed herself to save him, being reabsorbed into Clayface and essentially dying. Such a well-written episode.

I've always thought they never used Clayface's full potential in any story. Because he is essentially a clay construct T1000

I do like the story of the mud pack. Alan Grant and Norm Breyfogle helped set the trend for the Caylface character we know today

I think the modern DC rebirth clayface origin is a very good story because it shows elements from the anime series. I think it's in a Batman annual, but I don't know the number. It elaborates more on the accident that he mentions.

Clay face in the Batman was pretty well down as well being detective Ming partner.

The most interesting story was where Batman gave clayface a second chance. You don't earn Batman's trust just like that. That story arc must be featured as a separate video.

The 2003 was always my favorite version of clayface, but this gave me more to read.

Can you do a history of The Man-Bat, please 🙏? He spooked me as a kid in batman, the animated series.

It's unfortunate that I seem to be in such a minority on this, but all my favorite comic book antagonists are the ones that can actually be pretty decent and cooperative if they're just given some kindness and understanding. Clayface, Mr. Freeze, Harley Quinn, etc. Sadly the nature of comics being so firmly dedicated to their status quo means it's extremely rare for that character development to stick like it did for Quinn. Nine times out of ten a new writer eventually comes along and reduces them back into an evil snarling monster for the hero to punch.

The first time I saw clayface on Batman tas as a kid he scared me I never forgot that episode when he bust his form after impersonating someone and can’t forget the woman at the end of the episode but thanks arrris now I can look back and laugh 😂

In more recent media they Brought back Basil Karlo who gained the powers of the other Clayface's by Injecting himself with all their blood samplessentially turning him into the most powerful version of Clayface

Also you forgot that Clayface, is immortal.

My favorite moment of Clayface is where he disguise as a healthy looking Joker in Batman Arkham City while also being the final boss as well. He could make an perfect villain in The Batman 2.

My favorite controversial clayface moment actully comes from "the batman" done by kids WB. Much later addition, but he is tortured by the joker and becomes clayface as a result. Then when he is later taunting batman he changes his face to the joker and says the famous line: "Do you know what separates the freaks from the normals? Just one bad day! Ever had a bad day batsy?"

One of the most interesting versions of clayface was from the 2008 "the batman" series where they took liberties to change alot of villains but I thought clayface was one of the better alterations to making his origin and story more unique

I loved him in the Batman Animated series as a kid, but most recently the version of him in the Harley Quinn show is toooo funny and comes in second place.

What do you think the live action version of Clayface is going to be like? Do you think we will see him either in the Matt Reeves Batman movie or in the upcoming Batman the Brave and the Bold movie in James Gunn DC projects in the DCU?
