Some theories for Marvel's Spider-Man 3: Peter hunts Carnage with the Anti-Venom suit but he becomes weaker because it's slowly healing his radioactive blood, so he ditches the symbiote and that's when Eddie Brock makes his debut, instead of becoming Venom he becomes Anti-Venom and helps Spider-Man fight Carnage.

For everyone who thinks spider man gets beat up too much by the symbioses you have to remember venom and every symbiote he gives birth too or is created by him or his offspring will always beat spider man as they have his powers allowing them to pass by spider man’s defenses. His spider sense does not activate when around them as again they have his powers as well. Also it’s been said spider man only uses a small fraction of his strength as to not obliterate people in one punch.

Grimlock316 Yeah, they could have expanded his story, but instead, they wasted him as Toxin. That just tells me that Marvel's starting to not give a shit about Brock anymore. I'll admit, the idea of Brock being Toxin grew on me a little bit, but I wish that was a non canon story and still would rather have Anti Venom.

Grimlock316 I don't know why they got rid of Pat Mulligan either ( if you're wondering, that's the original Toxin ), I'm guessing they just killed him off because they wanted to focus more on Agent Venom and then later on use him as an excuse for Brock, which is also possibly the same reason why they got rid of Anti Venom. Tbh, I never really cared about the Life Foundation Symbiotes, although I do believe there could have been some potential for Hybrid.

After watching Venom: let there be carnage, I’m really hoping this is the storyline for Venom 3. In content between Venom 2 and 3, Brock and Venom become separated. They are separated for weeks. Eddy gets cancer, and Mr. Negative heals him, but not to help him. He knew he was Venom, and wanted to make him incompatible from venom, setting him up as a Villain. Toxin had to leave his family and becomes mad at the world turning him into a villain. Venom is able to escape and track Eddy down, in a new temporary host, but Eddy isn’t able to Merge. Venom thinks Eddy has gained the power to reject him, which pisses him off. So Venom rages and tries to attack Eddy, which transforms him into Antivenom. Venom ends up pairing to Anne, and they are forced to meet again.

Insomniac knew they had the chance to do something that the comics couldn't do. Seriously imagine if Peter got the Anti-Venom symbiote in the comics. He'd be nigh-unstoppable! But of course he wouldn't be able to keep it because it's too powerful. The video games however are a different story. They can let their characters keep their power-ups.

In a grocery store mini spiderman comic thing there was a find the difference, and the picture was the cover for new ways to die book two

Anti-Venom sounds like Deadpool's Kryptonite since it seems he could cure his cancer, which will ironically result in a gruesome death for Wade as once his cancer is cured, his healing factor will run amok and grow new cells where they are not needed and he'll just explode, like the Super Skrulls who were granted his healing factor but not cancer. Basically, if Deadpool was attacking me, I'd call Anti-Venom and Wade is screwed.

This is actually an interesting theory. Would he be able to stalemate deadpool? As far as i know, antivenom would need to kinda in a way possess it's host to cure its cancer. And as far as i know, nothings been able to possess deadpool due to his healing factor blocking any foreign object from affecting individual cells

Because his healing factor is built in such a way that it makes cells to replace the cells cancer kills so without the cancer he will rapidly grow unneeded cells and explode. So maybe he'll survive, but he'll just be a mound of constantly growing flesh and at that point he may as well be.
