HiStories - Fighting Against Slavery: Multilateral Efforts from the League of Nations to the SDGs.

As we just marked the 70th anniversary of the entry into force of the 1953 Protocol of the Slavery Convention, this HiStories episode delves into multilateral efforts to fight slavery, from the League of Nations to the UN 2030 Agenda.
We explore with experts the relevance of multilateral cooperation in fighting modern slavery and highlight how SDG target 8.7 represents a unique opportunity to eradicate slavery, traffic in persons and forced labour.
