Historical & Fantasy Armies Made Easy With Fireforge; Ace For Kings Of War Wargaming?
Ойындар
It's OTT Weekender time! Building a Kings Of War army? Why not have a look at the Historical & Fantasy armies from FireForge games that could make it easy to get wargaming with some ace-looking 28mm miniatures?
As well as being great for Kings Of War armies, these miniatures provide you with an excellent alternative to the usual Games Workshop Warhammer-themed miniatures that we see popping up from different creators.

Thinking it's going to be pretty easy to make my Salamanders army in Horus Heresy. Just get Vulkan, about 8 Space Marines and like 1 vehicle and I'll have the whole chapter.
Loving the breadth of the channel - historicals, fantasy and sci-fi, and not just 28/32mm scale. Keep up the good work!
I love it when you got through historical ranges. I knew nothing of varangians and oh boy that was a awesome rabbit hole to go down. Really you should have a suggested reading list as it would make the life of unread heathens like me much easier :D
Very nice miniatures at Fireforge, thanks for spotlighting them :)
The best part of my work week, is watching the weekended during work
I love your weekenders, I don't always get thru all of them, but they brighten my Friday night shifts.
Thank you for spotlighting FireForge miniatures, especially their Old World range. I love your idea of the necromancer and the apprentice with a shovel for a frostgrave band, I’m stealing it 😊
Fireforge are a company I nearly completely forgot about, they seemed to be everywhere when they first produced their crusaders range.
I love how many new things I learn every Friday. Thanks guys!
Kudos to Warp miniatures for faithfully capturing the Green Knight at the proctologist in miniature form
Been a goodly while since I've watched the backstage as it usually into the next week before I get to the Weekender and then life gets in the way. I think I'm gonna make the effort to get to it this week with the promises of special guests.
Happy weekend lads, glad to see you cover Fire forge, been a long time supporter of them. Love their lines, can’t wait for my dwarfs to arrive.
Very good show, thanks again! The Fireforge segment, the Arthurian minis segment, and the Uncharted Journeys segments were my favorites.
Happy Tuesday! FireForge Games minis still looks great! You've kind of rekindled my love of their undead! Thanks for the show guys
Thanks for the FireForge review, I wasn't aware they had so many ranges
That must be the best episode in a long time. No one reading out the official blurb of forthcoming games as if English were their second language. Everyone sincerely engaged with the subject matter. Very good! Wonder what’s changed?
Loved the banter this week guys, really enjoyed the show.
Good evening everyone, the fireforge minis have been improving greatly thinking of using the northmen rabble for frostgrave
I love those Fireforge miniatures, and they work so well for Barons War
Another great weekender! Always love the Indy of the Week. Nice to see the smaller companies getting some love
Love the look of the fireforge mini's!! May have to pick some up. Another good show love tuning in every week while hobbying!!
Thanks for the imformative info just getting back into the hobby after years away so good to see what's out there to collect
Another great episode! Always appreciate seeing what else is out there to get ideas and inspiration
Love my saturday morning painting session with this on!
Haven't had a chance to actually play any 40k yet, but love a lot of the models. Started collecting and painting bits and pieces of various factions
Always a good good GOOD start to the weekend. Thx guys!
Absolutely love the warp minatures sculpts, really stand out from so many other miniatures👍
Always delighted to See a new Show to geht my Weekend started!
This has become part of my weekend ritual to watch this
Groovy stuff. Looks like a tasty prize this week. ! The Fireforge stuff looks lovely as always. They produce some lovely minis.
Those FireForge Minis look amazing! Love the look of the fantasy line.
I love catching up on the weeks news. You do a great job putting together this weekly update
Excellent episode as always. Love the Fire forge minis. That Warhammer Horus Heresy prize looks lovely as well.
I do have some 3 or 4 boxes of FF historical models and they are a joy to assemble and paint. Recently bought some of the fantasy range and they are amazing!
Another enjoyable video with an excellent overview of several ranges! Well done, guys!
The Fireforge undead range are all epic. The variety of poses and weaponry means that your ravenous hordes should never embarrassingly turn up to the party in the same outfits.
It's time for the Weekender. I love when the intro ends and we get to see who is on this week.
Fireforge Games is awesome. Thanks for the tour!
DuckQuest is hilarious. We need more of those.
That duck quest ks is interesting. It is cool how technology has progressed in the past few years. You can now download and print 3d files of scanned hand sculpted minis.
This review is a great resource on options on Miniatures for your gaming needs
I have bought some Fireforge Templar units for my Lion Rampart retinue when LR was published a decade ago! They are great!
Fireforge has become a huge company and its great to see. It may be nice to see the new larger scale ruleset from fire and sword come soon.
Thanks for another cracking start to my hobby weekend guys.
You all do some serious coverage of games. It’s great.
Pretty sweet bundle, I could make a Space Wolves army with that.
Always love listening to you guys and building minis from my pile of shame
Hey, really enjoyed indy of the week, some great stuff and the kick starters looked interesting :)
The Fireforge range is really good. I have used a mixture of historical and their fantasy ranges to assemble a kingdom of Equitaine/Bretonnian army
I'm looking forward to the new warmachine edition. I have a warhammer community around and I do have a chaos force but, sometimes you just want a smaller size skirmish game. Yeah there's variants like Kill team but I want something in the middle.
Awesome stuff, love getting into new channels!
Just learned about fireforge thanks!
Great episode, guys! Always a great start to the weekend.
Darcy’s ducks are great - I have some of the original early metal versions from a past KS and the designs capture various fantasy archetypes perfectly
FireForge is the first time I knew of the Indie of the Week before the show!
Fireforge range of minis is very interesting, so many cool settings.
I love Fridays. Thanks for all you do!
Loads of interesting stuff this cweek. I hope Keyforge does make a successful comback as it had a lot going for it. Some lovely minis this week in a variety of scales too. Well found everyone.
Lots of cool minis in this one. Thanks !
Great indie again, really like the knights of the round table miniatures very tempting
Those infinity models looking great as always! 👍
Fireforge's fantasy stuff is always tempting
Thanks more great figures to see and new game s you are always finding new figures for me to paint
Nice set of amazons indeed :D I'm totally biased here, but I love to see some specific miniatures dedicated to the Reconquista. Particularly with the quality of Fireforge, amazing minis all around. And despite the bretonian Green Knight being one of my favourite miniatures ever, it's also nice to see a good sculpt of the "armoured Treebeard with an axe" variety. I'm less convinced with the Temple of the West one though, it seems to fall between both interpretations without reaching the potential of any of them.
Damn you guys, I was ignoring that Uncharted Journeys book successfully. Now you've explained it, it reminds me of one of my favourite things from original Warhammer Quest, the Travel table. As Gerry suggested, one could possibly start a general campaign and see where the dice and players take it. Create your own open world game where the adventures get distracted getting from A to B by delving into ancient ruins
Sadly first Weekend show without the Whimsy Alchemist & Libromancer Free 😑but the guys did a great job and I liked that KeyForge is back 😃 Thanks for another great show.
I like the Northern Army as regular spearmen & archers in Oathmark
The Thousand Sons are a really cool legion. I love them before their fall, in red. I'd collect them I think in case I got into 30k.
Weekender! Sitting down to painting my Death Guard while catching up on the gaming news. Had a good birthday the other day and looking to get a Horus Heresy demo game next weekend.
I got the dead cavalry to use in my Dunharrow army for Middle Earth SBG, and they are fantastic.
Those Cromarty Romans look great. Thanks to Little Wars TV and their Pyrrhus campaign I have an itch to print and paint 6mm Republican Romans.
I alway wanted to start of a Dark Angels Army in the Horus Heresy, since I loved to kitbash Fallen Dark Angels with MK III and MK IV Armour and the 40k Models (not talking about Primaris). The Boxset for the Age of Darkness would further push my intent. Otherwise, I loved to watch the new (small) wave of the MotU tabletop - such a great game. Still my finger hovers over the idea of preordering the Squats.. sorry Leagues of Votann. Always liked Dwarfs in Warhammer. Please keep on presenting all the Indie Lines, to present us the world beyond GW 😉 'Love the friday show of yours! My weekend start now 😁
Been a fan of the FireForge FW line for a while, great for Frostgrave / Rangers of Shadow Deep, 5 Leagues, etc
Thank you for another fun run down, the upcoming warmachine and infinity releases all look great.
I've been looking into some of the FireForge models for a Warhammer army. They have some really beautiful and reasonably priced models that look like they would fit in very well. I have a bit too much of a grey horde right now to buy any right now, but I'm sure it'll come.
Those cromerty romans are great, tempted by them.
Really love the FireForge line -- just ordered more Northmen for some Baron's War and Lion Rampant. Cheers!
Loving the 30k kits that are coming out. Using one page rules for fast destruction
Horus Heresy? You have my attention :) Great show as always!
The fireforge minis look great, also for the horus heresy: first legion is best legion
Those 10mm Romans look great.
Those FireForge look really great!
Bought one of the first Horus Heresy books called Betrayal from GW With everything coming from forge world never thought I would be able to game the heresy. Now it looks like it is possible. Great show all!
Whoop would love the age of darkness box! Liked and subbed ❤
FireForge does make some beautiful kits and I'm seeing them around more and more.
I love FireForge. I totally forgot they sold 15’s as well.
Oh man, I LOVE those Arthurian minatures from Temple of the West! And speaking of Fireforge, I hear tell they might release some samurai soon, I think?
Loving the ducks and infinity stuff!!!
Thanks for another great - if slightly more crusty than we've become accustomed to - show guys
Actually, its "By Fire And Sword", a wargame which will get its second edition soon ( hopefully), and the company is Wargamer.
happy weekend! the northmen look rather tempting indeed
Great show folks. I see a 10mm roman army in my future.
Well I like that undead stuff. Looks really in theme of the setting.
great show as normal do love the look of the Votann...
Just found you guys, great videos
Infinity is a game I really want to get into. Fantastic show as ever. Have a fantastic weekend folks!
Thx for FireForge material :)
Hippity hoppity that box is my property
There’s is so many awesome alternatives to GW stuff atm it’s so amazing for the hobby, awesome Weekender
The Fireforge minis are great. By Fire and Sword is the Great Northern War. A good rule set with really good minis. I am glad to hear that it is getting a second edition as it actually could use as it, opposed to those companies that just do it to do it.
