Another fun fact Admiral Nimitz personally helped raise funding for the preservation of Mikasa. In return Japan sent people to make a garden in his estate.
Mikasa is such a cool ship, we are incrediblely lucky she survived for so long.
Great video! Maybe in in the 1st carrier division? Akagi and Kaga have some neat trivia in their design, and of course I’ve gotta advocate for my favorite foxes!
