This is Leica Histocore Spectra, a new generation automated staining system. This workstation performs fully automated routine H&E staining and also special staining, as well as coverslipping.
In addition to staining quality, Spectra allows the direct integration of slides in the new Aperio scanners, which is why this is an equipment that contributes to the efficient workflow of the digital pathology incorporated lab.
