I think the lights really bring this vehicle to life. It wouldn't be nearly as good without them

Just got mine in today, it was a lot heftier than I was expecting. Can't wait for the fire team to get here so I can pop them on there. Wouldn't mind seeing some of the variant colors down the line. It would pretty wild if they ever got around to the Septic Tank from the Eco Warriors line.

If they do go with another Cobra vehicle i vote for the Water Mocassin.

An exchange with the gunner stand with an opening like on a tank on top and a second chair for the cargo area would also have been ingenious.

got mine on the 8th and damn is it awesome. Got word that my 788 fireteam is getting ready to ship and then will just need that SMS Missile system to tow behind it. You are right that the next vehicle should be a Cobra vehicle if they're alternating and we've had land and air so now it is time for sea and I agree the Cobra Moray is the next logical choice. However I would not be surprised if it was the Cobra Rattler this next time around though because it is far more iconic than the Moray. In fact I'd say my top 5 most iconic Cobra vehicles are the HISS, Rattler, FANG, Ferret, and Trouble Bubble.

Nice review. Flint definitely takes out a fleet of HISS Tanks all by himself, disguised as one of the drivers he lays waste to 4 or 5 of these vehicles. He crashes his tank into the last one & disables both. Revealing his true identity, he smashes through the canopy of the last tank to find Cobra Commander hissing in fear. Flint smiles & lifts the terrified terrorist from his seat, tossing him to the ground knocking him unconscious. “Yo Joe!” Flint yells in delight ;)

Don’t “sidestep” the flip down cockpit steps. You also got to love the fact that since they went with the DeLorean inspired “gull wing” doors they decided to update the design of the front of the Hiss using the front design of the DeLorean/headlights as well!

Supposed to get mine delivered today.

I'm with you that was my favorite.

When I was a kid. I only had the rattler and gi joe whale. So this is cool as hell as a adult. It's all nostalgic anyways. Lol

I'm not a Joe collector, but this is freaking awesome!!!

I got mine on 12/6. It's still in the box right now since I have no idea where I'm going to put it. It'll be the same problem with the Dragonfly next year. I had the mail away version of the Hiss so it didn't have the driver.

I'm here for the box chucking.

There is a ground vehicle, Hiss and an air vehicle, Dragonfly. A water vehicle should be next.

The engine cover in front of the turret is removable BTW!

The battery door screw comes out easy with a standard (flat) head screw driver instead of a Phillips.

It was a little tricky getting driver in seat restraints. Don't pull from bottom restraint, as it's only epoxied in. Go easy. Good review

This is the quintessential Cobra vehicle for me. I backed it the immediately when I saw what it was . So I have high expectations. I lime what I see from the reviews I just have not opened mine yet. I'm rearranging my display. And was not done yet.

Hey Kyle I’ve played this vehicle in the game and it was fun playing the HISS TANK in the game. And I liked how the missiles fire in the game

At some point i do hope we get the Water Moccasin..... Copperhead doesn't look right without his trusty boat.... But as successful as the line has become, I can see hasbro trying bigger vehicles now so yeah....I could see them trying a Rattler for say....$350-$375..... especially if the Tiers are good

I was hoping the cockpit would drop down like it did the comic book, but hey i think they did great!

When you say iconic cobra vehicles the hiss tank ,rattler and trouble bubble are what come to mind…….they should do the rattler next they did a land vehicle now they need a air one …and the next joe one should be a land vehicle since they did the dragon fly

The back sould have been big enough to fit in at least 6 figures in it imo. But this is a dream come true for sure :)

It'll be the Thunder Machine.

I'm betting the next big Cobra Haslab is the Rattler. We've had no mention of Wild Weasel (who is probably more well known than Copperhead), so I bet they are saving him for that.

I think the stickers would make it look cheap and cluttered it looks great with out them

I wouldn’t mind some small to mid-range type of vehicles like the Armadillo, something like that.

I'm a Joe fan from way back as an 80s kid. I just can't get behind "crowd funding" from a $5 billion plus company. Especially since they just laid off almost 1500 employees two weeks before Christmas. Trust me, I'd love to collect the classified series and the cool HasLab stuff. My heart just won't let me. Sticking to my retro. Great video brother, HISS looks awesome. Yo Joe!

Don’t have the money or space for this. 😂😂😂 But the box is beautiful, especially the bottom blueprint design. The black and red color scheme is very elegant. I do agree they should have foot pegs on the back for getting more figures on the vehicle. This definitely beat my expectations- especially with the lights. I remember the 3.75” scale as a kid and it wasn’t that impressive. Next vehicle should be the chopper or jeep for the Joes.

As a kid I didn't have a HISS Tank, but I remember it being Navy Blue not Black. But I did have a Cobra Rattler and a Cobra Ferret. I would love to see Haslab do a GI Joe Classified Cobra Rattler.

The original toy was black. It was black in the cartoon. It was supposed to be black in the Marvel Comics series, but the way that comics are colored makes it easy to think any black object is supposed to be blue. The second color a couple years later was red. There was a light blue one around the end of '80s.

3 of 63…. 3/63 is the way we denoted the separation of military units. So 3/63 could mean 3rd brigade / 63rd armored division. Or there is 4-160 4th battalion- 160th Regiment. You would say it as 3rd of the 63rd armored division. Useless knowledge I have after 23 years of service.😂

The prices are all over the place. Looking at the last few pages of completed auctions it ranges from $415 to more than $600. The cheapest listing for just the vehicle went for $349.50. Those prices include shipping, but not tax.
