Yup definitely. My family is still marrying within their community in Rio De Paras Michoacán. I also think my dads part of the family are definitely Inditos
Velazquez from Jalisco - to be exact a ranchito called San Isidro. A couple years ago it used to be Municipio de Tototlan, Jalisco. Another city close by is Atotonilco El Alto as well. Thank you for all of this.

Arteaga is a Basque name, which is a pre-hispanic culture and speak a language not related to Spanish. Arteaga should not be considered Hispanic at all.
Can you do CANTABRANA from Nayarit? It’s really an uncommon last name but there is a big family with that last name. Thank you !

1520-1555 Romero were encomenderos honored:::found Romero in chihuahua , powerful Romeros w/ land grands in New Mexico still have reunions after 100 of yrs. My gr. Gr grandfather Thomas Jacquez married Maria Romero 1800 Chihuahua (without them I would not be here ,,!!,,Romeros are in many history books

Tinajero - Guanajuato, it’s incredibly rare for me to hear of another Tinajero that isn’t my mom’s side of the family. Same with Aguayo - Zacatecas, but my dad’s side is huge
Would you be able to do a video on the “Topete” last name. I’ve heard from my family that most Topete’s only come from one main Pueblo and that most Topete’s tend to be related

Puentes-Ornelas from originally fromZacatecas but our family moved to Tamaulipas, we have Puentes in Guadalajara and in Baja California

@@Bigchicano72 yeah I can’t say to much on my Ornelas family, but I know for sure all Puentes are related. I’ve met Cousins at work before, they’d saw my Name tag on my hard hat and ask me who is my great grandfather and we start there and eventually they turn out to be my second Cousi.
Hello! My family is from Colima, my paternal grandfather’s last names are Silva Luna, paternal grandmother’s last names are Rivera Cortez, maternal grandfather is Pulido Padilla, and maternal grandmother is Carrillo Carriera. I found information on my paternal side Silva going back to the early 1800s nothing on my maternal side or paternal grandmother. Hope you can help a bit.

Orozco (Orozko in Basque) is a Basque last name, Basques arent considered hispanic.

Both those last names are of Basque origin! Basques aren't even hispanic since we speak an unrelated language and are pre-hispanic in culture.

@@fatimamedina5897 my family is from Zacatecas as well and from what I know there was a very prominent family in Nieves Zacatecas that my grandmother was supposed to marry into ( my great grandfather wanted that but she ended up marrying the man she loved instead) The Medina family of Zacatecas were Muslim and extremely wealthy. They were merchants and that’s how they made their wealth. that is what I know. About the Medinas from my family’s hometown of Zacatecas and were very good friends with my family from what my grandmother tells me. Also consider your first name and if there are other Fatima’s in your genealogy …Fatima is a very common Islamic name for Muslim women. Medina is also the name of Islam’s second most holiest city Al- Medina
