This is literally like the only KZread vid of a Hisens U8N, I've been waiting so long for them.

I have seen hundreds of pics of Consumer Uploads on Chinese official Site. They are in home uploads living room pics. Like they look NICEEEEEE🎉. Funny they do NOT make them in 55” in China. 🇨🇳 funny n the U8K 75” still pricy , they are pricier than the VA panels, n similar enough price to U8N 75” . I guess the ADS-PRO premium Glossy OLED angle panel. 😊

Hisense U8N. I work at a Best Buy and see the U8K box very day, so I recognized it off the way that the 65” text looked and the barcode sticker placement. They’re also one of the few that do the “cardboard box with a big ol’ sticker on it” thing.

looking forward to this review. U8K was an impressive tv last year. wondering what changes/improvements Hisense has made.
WOW!! This remote control looks amazing
Love your reviews Caleb! You will always be my TV tech review hero…. Hope you feel better soon. Wish I can meet you in person one day…
im actually glad u got this tv. can't wait to see if its worth me getting or not
Appreciate the side quest you went through; guess I'll still keep looking for a good dumb TV. Looks pretty good from the sample video shots!
It might just be me but I prefer a center pedestal over legs on either side. I just feel it allows for a bigger tv on a smaller stand provided the stand can handle the weight
Get well soon.
I have been waiting to see this tv get reviewed over the u8k. Did they fix the dimming and banding from the u8k? Is it worth getting over the u8k. I think it will be, but reviews will decide. Good video from Caleb. I had a terrible flu over Christmas, so I can relate.
Was planning on getting the U8K but I may wait for this model.
Looking forward to the review. The previous U8 is on the finalists list of TVs I may buy, but am curious to see how this one is compared to it to see if I should wait for it or buy the previous one at a big discount.

I've had two Hisense TV's (currently have the U8K) and totally missed it. Probably because it's early ion the season and my Hisense TV's both had two TV stands/legs not a single one with a plate like this, which I like much better for soundbar reasons. Great Video, thank you!
Looking forward to this review!
Good you feel better.. the video was fun . I've been looking forward to this tv
I purchased a U8H after your review and still using it and loving it. Thanks for all you do. When will we see a review of those Goldenear speakers!?!?
Great reveal and looks a well designed tv bar google lol Stand looks way better than those spindly plastic legs some tvs have! Great channel & get well soon 🐈👍
Haha. I love that you did this!! (Typed before watching till end)! 🎉
I had pneumonia last month. No fun. Glad you are feeling better!
Can’t wait for this review as I expect it to perform very well. The U7K was an amazing TV from a value to performance standpoint.
Looking forward to see if there is posturization and macro blocking. Especially with any kind of movement. The U8H that I had was horrible. I returned it.
I always lay the tv face down to put the legs/pedestal on, it’s just so much easier. I just recently bought the LG C3 65” back in January, I was a little hesitant about doing that since it’s my 1st expensive nice tv, but I just put down a fluffy blanket on my bed and layed the tv down on it
YES YES YES I've been waiting for this TV since CES
mystry over with the title card!
Hi! When will you do a full review on this Hisense U8N?
Anxiously awaiting your full review! Our Panasonic 55CX850 went kaput. After 2 months of zero luck while searching for parts, we pulled the trigger on a 75 inch U8K and I just KNEW Hisense was releasing the u8n in April yet didn’t know when. We are debating whether to return this guy due to some issues like picture flickering and the motion is just SO distracting at times. I’m thinking the best reason to update is the more powerful processor. Am I right? Thanks in advance!
This will likely be my next TV. Will wait to see your review, but I'm hoping to upgrade to this from my U8G!
OMG the dumb TV idea is real! I have a U8H TV and I like using it as a Dumb TV (basic TV) because I use it to play videogames on my ps5 most of the time 🤣I barely watch media content expect for YT.
Great video Caleb, I love the mystery 👍
I think it might be a Hisense, I have a U8K and it seems a little same on the design language and the back of the TV, could be wrong though
Thank you for showing the “not smart, but still way smarter than you wanted” setup. I purchased a U8H after your review and have an Apple TV connected to it. During some shows and movies Google jumps in and mutes the audio if it thinks it heard its wake up word. Which is incredibly annoying. But I hesitated to change to “non-smart” mode... I’ll now be trying that knowing the caveats…
😮😮That thing looks High END. 🎉
Reminds me of a Sony TV with the back panel, not the subwoofer or speakers, but the rectangles and hidden ports. The stealthy pedestal option also screams Sony to me.

P.S. Hisense, ahh. looks pretty good.
Quantum TV just reviewed it and gave his first impressions and it’s not looking good 😢 maybe that’s why Caleb hasn’t reviewed it yet
I don't know enough about the various TV makers to guess about the TV. BUT I am a fan of GoldenEar speakers. And I spy a pair of new T66 towers. So crossing my fingers for a review of those speakers!
Until last weekend I worked at PT job selling Sony TVs at Best Buy. I saw a number of both TCL and Hisense TVs come back for software issues. I had an issue with the TCL Q5 I bought recently. I ended up doing the full Google TV setup, and it went into a home screen loop requiring a hard reset after the update. I decided at that point to do a factor reset, set up "simple TV," and not connect it to wifi. I bought one of the $20 ONN streaming boxes and hooked it up. Viola, I have GoogleTV (which I want for parental controls), but don't have to worry about the internal GoogleTV screw ups I heard about so much at the store. The TCL and Hisense GoogleTV implementations are bad enough that they presented a roadblock for me in selling Sony TVs. Prior experience with GoogleTV on TCL or Hisense would keep customers away.

Hi! Could you tell, will TV see HDD external via usb like 12TB? what is a limit for HDD for TV? I tried 5TB and it works. will it run 12TB? LG C3 for example.
Hisense are rockin it!
Possibly, maybe, perhaps moving the TV back on the stand to be closer to the wall giving the cables a shorter run to help with cable management issue you had? Perhaps? Possibly? Maybe? 🤣😂🤣😂
How many hdmi 2.1 inputs does this tv have? Is it like the newer tcl that has 2 hdmi 2.1 inputs and puts the earc on and hdmi 2.0 port?
Those transducers gave it away for me!

Enjoyed~so perfect unboxing! peace out,;))
Still waiting for the 2024 TV Lineup. It looks like my grandchildren when reaching the retirement age will be lucky enough to see these TVs.
When is the U8k releasing? And will the 75in be ads pro?
You ever going to do a review of the GoldenEar T66 speakers...?
Gotta be a Hisense no other brand calls it ULED
That video game reference too true
Saw it on the box in the beginning of the video 🤣
I was thinking Hisense because of the stand and cable cover being similar to my U8K, but the fact there was Sub in the back threw me off.
Are all the sizes ads panels?
I have seen a couple of other reviews on the U8N that have mention Posterization is terrible and certain colors especially Orange is really bad. I haven't heard anything about these issues from your reviews. I may have missed them but how do you feel about that and is there a way to correct them?
I'm replacing my LG C1 that has 10k hours on it and I want this tv... Will be ordering one soon and I'm excited to see how it fairs this year.
You have many good videos, but I have a question that I have not seen answered before. How well do these hold up when powered on 24/7? In need of a quality budget TV that has little issue with that. The Hisense U8H lasted 13 months, but issues started right at 12 months. The repairman just just left today after he destroyed the screen (warranty repair thing) and left me without anything until Hisense gets back in touch with me. In market again now
I'm thinking of Hisense, but then again, it's kind of unusual for them to have a pedestal like that. I'm thinking on the lines of the lines of Samsung or LG?
will there be an 85 inch version of this TV and will it be a VA panel? Assume the 75 inch is a VA Panel, correct? Last year's 75 inch was not a VA Panel.
This was fun, but bring on the G4 review. 😢
I did the same setup on my moms tcl 75Q7 without initializing googletv, and basic apps like Netflix and prime work fine. Just can’t add other apps. 🎉
I'm going Hisense this year 💯

Caleb can you please try and replicate the eARC issues that still plague the U8K? It’s the biggest reason I regret my purchase since I haven’t heard the same thing about the QM8. It’s not just an issue with Sonos soundbars but apparently all soundbars.
is the hisense 100" u8 ever going to be in stock again?
I wanted to upgrade my U7G for the U8K, but liked better the Sony x90L processing (though the blooming was really bad). Hopefully U8N hits the spot as none TVs last year convinced me to upgrade

Hi Caleb, Thanks for the great review! I have two questions for you regarding u8n. I'm in Australia, is the us and aus models the same product? I would take the Hisense because I have 2 Hisense already. U8N should look very close even surpass Samsung S95C, it has almost Matching Color Volume. The Brighter the TV the MORE thick color VOLUME u need to make things 3D in small pockets of same color, like face, hand, ✋ Caleb of grey jacket. The green leaf 🍃 in this video. Or Caleb’s brown hair. The denser the color on the bright scene the more 3D it looks. For example the theater we go at IMAX is projection screen. The tvs we have home are light sourse. We need MUCH thicker Lamp SHADE/dense /firm color over the lamp 🪔 to have color look not washed OUT . The 2023 U8K already has 9/0 color volume, I magine the U8N will match or surpass that. s90c s95C at 9.1/10 The QN900C has extreme native contrast, like 1700:1 not sure why, the last year U8K even has 7500:1 . The U8K has 165000:1 dynamic contrast , qn900C has 160000:1 DC. So they match. But the U8K will look more clean base on that test. Thats going to look more sharper n 3D. N the QN900C is def NOT ready for that price. The 8.5/10 color volume is like just matching SONY X90L color volume on the chart. If u look at in store(not focus on clearity) but just check the color, u will find the x90L slightly washed out (obvious enough) beside premium LEDs n Qd-OLED. Yeah skip that qn900C. It will be decent tv just REALLY not great for the price. 😮 Oh i was just using Hisnese U8K spects to explain. The U8N will even go more insane on spects. More incky black, more dense color 3D visual. And Significanly better in bright room. Samsung , SONY , TCL will have Infamous Rainbow 🌈 smear in bright room. Its insane annoying if u are watching dark show. Or playing video game. I think Hisense n LG use slightly diff technolgoy coating etc. they do NOT have that issue
@Yoga_Tv_buying
19 күн бұрын
Hey sounds ridiculous okay I mean occasionally pass s95C , not all the time. But they will be close. Like the on Stage, eveyrthing is so bright, black wont matter. We need INSANE color volume. Out door like Niagara falls. Lol by the fall , everything so bright. Or like outdoor parade . Even parking lot. We need a LOT of color volume. For things to look clear. 😊the Bright color Boosted by INSANE volume makes those Outdoor Billboard by the highway so clean 🧽 3D visual. Rather than washed out white. The COLOR volume makes eveyrthing 3D .🍑🥬🥦🥮, d larger the Tv screen gets, the weaker the color is on bright screen even dark screen but with bright parts, it can look like tint🧩. our eyes can see THAT particular thing more flat.
Had the Se on the box at the start 😂
I just got a 75 U8K Super Bowl time. The packaging kind of gave it away.
Are they making the 100 inch version for this model?
Hey what is the brand name and model for those gorgeous floor standing speakers there at your pat.
Hi caleb. Would it be possible that you mention that a tv will have a different operating system in a different region? (Mainly hisense and tcl) . When i finally bought my first tv i chose the hisense u7k after many research on the internet as it looks to be the best bang for buck. And when it got delivered, only then i realize it comes with its own VIDAA OS which prompted me to purchase a shield tv pro for it instead. A moment of disappointment there. I wonder if this is something you will know while making a review? Keep up the good work. Thanks!
Had Hisense in my mind when I saw the Subwoofer on the back. But the stand and bezel were kind of throwing me off.
This was fun. I can't say I actually guessed, but when I saw the sub woofer on the back of the panel, I suspected, Hisense, or TCL. With small downward firing speakers, I think the sub woofer is going to be common on new TV's. Get well Caleb.
Where is the review Caleb? It’s been almost a month since this video 🤷🏽♂️
Hey Caleb😊
Here in the UK, Hisense use VIDAA
Why is the 55 inch the same price as a 65 lg c3 oled? Shouldn’t I go with oled at that price point?
Can you explain the different types of LED's and backlighting? Also, can you recommend your favorite non OLED tv under 1000 $ US?
I was completely wrong 😂😂😂 I have much to learn. I was thinking Sony from the design on the back and how the pedestal can be set to two different heights.
Laying it down on it's face is actually in Hisenses Quick Start instructions - so that is the recommended practice.
I know Hisense have gotten better the last few years but the concern I have is durability, having multiple Samsungs without any issues. I have not any failures on a Samsung tv they have all lasted at least 10 years.
@michaelbeckerman7532
Ай бұрын
Samsungs are FAR more reliable than Hisense, but they wouldn't be my first choice either. Walk into any TV retailer and see what TVs are broken or malfunctioning on their demo walls. If you see any (and you VERY likely will) there is about a 90% chance that TV is a either a Hisense or a TCL. They sure look nice when they are working, but the reliability just is NOT there on those brands. They simply break down way too often. Hard pass there.
@hammerjoe2008
Ай бұрын
@@michaelbeckerman7532 I dont think they are broken, its just that the store will cater to the more expensive tv's to look better for sales. I went the other day to all the stores around my area that sell tv's and all of the Samsung, Lg, Sony Oleds were playing their demo material in all its glory. It was impossible to choose which one looked better to be honest. The hisense's and TCL and the lower tier samsungs, lg and Sony tvs... they were showing upscaled crappy sports channel and all of them looked terrible or were simply turned off.

My u8g is still going fine, my oldest tv is a TCL that's ten years old and still used every day (as a PC monitor). My Sony is fine. A cheap LG I bought is fine. Only one that's broken is a Samsung that didn't make it two years. I wouldn't put too much thought into this. Will just hurt more when you buy a Samsung thinking they are special and it fails you.

Funny I've had nothing but failed Samsungs. Qn90 only made it 1 month that was and will be my last Samsung tv.. I have a 55 inch 4 year old Hisense H8G and no issues what so ever. I also have a 70 Vizio M7 going on 3 years no issues . My newest addition 65 in Sony X90L. We just put the tv's face down on the bed with the bottom part for the stand slight on the edge and pop them right on.
At first I though LG because of the box but then I saw the google TV on the side in one of those early shots so it couldn't be that. My guess is Hisense maybe. That font on the side looks familiar and the back looks familiar too.

@@Yoga_Tv_buying Because I don't like that OLEDS Crush Blacks plus ABL sucks, and OLED burn is another downside, like sometimes I'm playing Tekken 8 and I feel like the static health bars and other icons are gon to burn the display specially when I'm playing for long periods, also OLEDS don't get super bright 🔆. But after I see the review of the U8N & the TCL QM851 I'll make a decision there's still a chance I end up getting the 55" Samsung S95C because the 55" S90C does not come with second Gen panel I have to purchase the 77" S90C to get the 2nd Gen panel but I'm not interested in a 4K 77 inch TV.
