    Thank you for going into detail on the drain hose, I wasn't sure what to expect when other people just briefly mentioned it.

    @@samc347 Nah, in heating/dehumidify mode the water collects in an internal tank. When the unit displays an E5 error, that means the internal tank is full. At that point you can hook up the hose and drain it 👍

    @@DrewTimelapse I bought one and found that the tank fills up after around 4 months of heater use. I imagine it would fill up much quicker in dehumidify mode.

    in humid areas it can fill up as quickly as 3 hours which we are experiencing :) @@miserablepile (We just started using a mug below the port to collect as we use the heater)

    Purchased: August 2022 - still works GREAT! kzread.infoUgkxxsUnXhGsSJLim_XnMHyQK0u3XVaW-CGn I live in a studio and during the summer it gets scorching hot - really old building with no ac units. I can’t express how EASY it was to install.This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment.I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!

    First-time setup will be the most time-consuming, though detaching the connection to the window at night and re-attaching it (since not all days will need AC or warm air) in the mornings won't be so bad aside from putting the strips back.

  • @pattymckibben8783

    Have you noticed any issues with the ac unit fluctuating the temp reading of the room, it not blowing cool all the time, or any other issues? I set up mine a few days ago, same model as yours, and it's been very iffy, working only sometimes.

  • @NNLALLINONE

    @NNLALLINONE

    It shows room temperature and not the target temperature we have set. This is the expected behaviour. But yes, there are occasions when the AC would shut down by itself a few seconds after turning on. Using the reset button on the power plug and restarting fixed the issue all the time so far. We are still in the return window and if the issue persists, we might return it.

  • @NNLALLINONE

    Draining is not required when AC(cooling) is used. But when heater is used, we have to drain it every 3-4 nights which is approximately after 10 hours of use.
