This is insane. Britain has multiple Strongmen right now that can push for world championships, and one of them is arguably the favorite at every competition he enters. The strongest they've been as a group maybe ever.

Adam Bishop is looking ridiculously big. Every time I see him it seems like he’s blown up a little more. I didn’t even him recognize him at first.

With 4 people casually trashing the world record in a single day, they might need to make the event harder to keep up with the athletes

yeah, I wonder if you take out Toms worry that the bag did not go over and just took the time from when he set his feet? is tossing every bag from its start point (no step back) going to be even faster?

It’s becomming the world’s fastest thrower.

They cannot change any of the weights/bar height as it would not be fair for previous record holders. However, seems like athletes are reaching the limit of speed on the sandbag throw, who knows , perhaps getting under 12 seconds is going to happen one day.

At this point, it's about technique. The time doesn't stop when the bag clears the bar, it stops when the bag hits the ground, so the bags that just roll over the bar land faster than the ones that fly over it. That's how Brian Shaw (16:59) lost to Hafthor Bjornsson (16:35 [Current standing world record for that weight/height]) in the Keg toss in 2014.

4.6m/15ft is standard height. i’m 2021 only 3 men finished with shane getting the fastest time of 17s
