His Name is Jesus - Official Lyric video

Музыка

This song is inspired by the testimony of Mary Magdalene who experienced freedom from demons, walked with Jesus, and witnessed His resurrection. This song invites us to experience Jesus as she did, as Redeemer, Reconciler, and Risen Savior.

Great song. Powerful lyrics and a beautiful voice. St. Mary Magdalene is a great intercessor if you are struggling with sins of the flesh. St. Augustin too.

@@Double_g_99 Then who are the great cloud of witnesses in Hebrews 12? Look at God's work from Genesis to Revelation, He always works through persons who do His will. Jesus, himself, makes the distinction that true death is damnation, not natural death. If you don't believe that all in heaven are saints who can and do pray for us, you're not Christian. The promise is eternal "life." How could anyone diminish Jesus Christ, especially those who gave all for Him, except in your mind? Everything in your Protestant bias is either/or, when the whole of Scripture is both/and. Jesus did not have to be born from Mary, but He chose to. He did not have to reveal His resurrection to Mary Magdalene, before the Apostles, but He chose to. Stop trying to make Jesus in your image and stop fighting against His will. To know and love Mary and the Saints is to love Jesus. They are the all-star team who truly lived and often died for Jesus. Who are you to deny His grace through them? You might want to re-read 1 John 1. May Jesus open your heart that you might see Him at work in the Saints. Both/and my brother. Peace.

@@Double_g_99 Let me help you understand another way. I agree with repentance, Jesus praying to the Father for us and only God, through Jesus answers prayers. When a person dies, they will be judged on what they have done (loved others, gave food to the hungry, drink to the thirsty, etc.), meaning our cooperation with grace (not works of the Law because we are not under the Law). We know that nothing impure can enter heaven because we could not be in God's presence. If we get to heaven, by Jesus' grace and mercy, we will be a saint (not an angel, as they are different species) and being made pure, our wills will be perfectly united to God's. Without sin there is no self-interest. So those saints in heaven are pure, eternally alive and praying for our salvation. Yes, Jesus died once for all, but He gave us freewill, which can accept or reject that salvation. Sin is, in effect, a rejection of that salvation and if it is a mortal sin, it is a cutting off from that salvation. God continues to offer salvation to all through repentance and His reconciliation to us until the point of death, at which time our freewill choice to accept or reject God is final. If you can find benefit in asking a friend, a family member or a fellow Christian (who are all sinners to some extent) to pray for you, which is intercession, then why not a live, pure saint who is in the presence of God? The Church is the body of Christ, with Jesus as its head, and we are the members. Are those in heaven not part of that same body? To exclude those saints, who St. Paul says have run the race and been given the imperishable crown, is not logical or theological. Paraphrasing St. Augustin, God created us without us, but He will not save us without us. It is a participation...be not sayers but doers of the Word...and praying for others is a spiritual virtue. Those saints in heaven are now perfectly virtuous. Do not be afraid my brother. Perfect love casts out fear. Choose a Saint who shared your struggles or maybe one who's piety and virtue you aspire to and ask them to pray for you and with you. If you are praying alone and a Saint is praying with you, two or more are present and Jesus is with you. Prayer is spiritual communication, when it is directed to God it is worship. Peace and prayers to you Georgi.
