I think it’s just a difference in how people were raised. Some comments I read said he needed it because it looks like it was time for a haircut, needed an edge up, didn’t look brushed and etc. That doesn’t mean he looked bad, it just means his hair could use a haircut. Others I read I think were meaning that he needed it as in the mom was making him cut it for a good reason. I know how I was raised, young boys for haircuts if they weren’t taking care of the hair or they did something really bad in school or something like that. The young man is handsome with or without hair and I don’t think (from the comments I read) that were degrading his natural hair or physical appearance. Long or short, his hair is still natural.

Oh jeez I’m getting some flashbacks, honestly I never wanted a haircut as a kid. It was either my moms way or my moms way, there wasn’t any other option, it’s either everything is cut off or everything is cut off. I started getting my desired hairstyle when I turned 14 and it was a high top.

He didn’t look anything but a handsome young man... Mum should encourage him to brush, and grease his hair if he wants to keep it so he can see what it takes to maintain his BEAUTIFUL hair’ if then she sees he can’t maintain and do what’s needed to keep up the maintenance then yes... “Mamma cut it all off!” (Not saying she didn’t do it already) he doesn’t look homesless , and like someone said GROWN FOLKS should not be laughing at the annoyance of the child’ he should not be laugh at or teased or made of fun of.. that’s some high school shit and can cause problems later on in life. Do better people.. And to the barber BIG UP YOURSELF little man looks super fly.. But was handsome before and after. I’m big 26 and I hate cutting off the dead ends I don’t talk to my hair dresser either especially when she says I’m gonna take a little more off it’s like ... a little more of what? gmtv_levi he honestly didn’t even have to cut it Moms always want someone to cut they hair but never teach them how to take care of it All he needed was some shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner, some moisturizer, and a pick All he had to do was use some shampoo and rinse it out Then put in some conditioner and let it sit and rinse it out Then use his leave in and he could of picked it out while that was and just his moisturizer daily
