I have realized that all happiness is temporary, I wanted ask that doing praying is more important or else listen and reading precious book from great lama.

Reading precious books and applying it in your life is more important than prayers but reading paryers are also important because it purifies your negative karma but reading books help you to cut the root of your negative actions which comes from strong self grasping attitude
