@@eoinmurtagh1441 I agree his dad was a bad man definitely (maybe ) , but as regards that lyric I think it’s Liam saying he was the first to take all the shite after the band split, he was cast as the bad man, Noel trashing him publicly when Noel was just as much to blame. Liam went straight into beady eye which didn’t work out and he took some crap for that s his progression after oasis was less considered and maybe too quick. I’ve always interpreted that lyric to be about Noel and the split not their dad. Maybe that because I’ve been there and I’ve been that bird that flew and took all the crap /blame when not totally to blame. The lyrics are always open to our own personal interpretations I suppose. We need to ask Liam

Liam's 'piano sessions' version of once and champagne supernova are amazing live versions of both songs where you can really hear his great voice.

Last winter did Liam did a mini gig a on a barge going down the River Thames mixing he’s solo and oasis tracks ( bonehead joined in on the oasis songs) well worth checking out the whole thing pretty sure it’s on KZread

Love liam, the youngins love him, i took my son to see his gig when he was 1st back touring with this album he was electric, my wee lads eyes were like saucers he was hooked, we saw noel ( the arrogant one) a few months later, totally not the same vibe, liams the man, hes humbled in his later years, hes the cool one! Im glad to see it noel ridiculed him every chance he got xx

This isn't live but listen to him sing it at Bethnal Green mens club its amazing. People always said liam was nicest brother unless liam was wrecked. Liam has said he can sing better to small crowds but in oasis he had to shout to be hear himself. a knebworth 96 noels guitar was the same decibels as a jumbo jet taking off.

Liam has had stages in his career be it Oasis, Beady Eye or as a Solo Artist where he does Live Acoustic sessions and Live studio sessions and he just sounds like the doggies knackers. It is a great tune, not from latest album though., there are some great tunes on his latest album too , (more power, too good for giving up etc, But I know where yr coming from with that just wish Noel would react to it with the same empathy you have etc.

"One Of Us" is from his second album released 2019. He released his third album this year. But yeah, it might be his best tune ever!

His best song in the debut album. Its really a good gong. Although I loved the MTV Unplugged version from 2019 better with the live crowd singing.

You need to reach to Noel’s new tune pretty boy as well , it’s great, slightly slow burner, but great. As always it would be great with Liam singing like this on it , but it is a great tune.

Think you're being a bit harsh on Noel's solo stuff,his first solo album was top drawer! Pretty sure there was at least one classic song on every album he's made,once anybody has achieved his songwriting status,people who have never wrote a song or picked up an instrument seem to think there opinions matter!

Spencer always nails the song meanings its an apology to not just noel everyone hes apology is to everyone he's ever wronged. Ive heard noels new single it was terrible dance with sub parr lyrics compared to even his oasis b.sides in the later albums.

would have been even better is spencer didn't keep turning the volume down and ruining the sound!

Liam does a great version of "come on feel the noise" and "my generation" , 2 classic rock tunes worth a listen , PLEASE consider reacting to Slades album Sladest I don't think they get the recognition for ther tunes

There oasis without Liam

You guys have done a lot of the mediocre Noel songs in my opinion (apart from Dead in the Water), Lock All The Doors, You Know We Can't Go Back and Dying of the Light are fantastic

He's lip synching to a pre-recorded studio version here, never sings as high as that live.

Too good for giving up at rockfield studios is amazing. Better than this

I hated Oasis from day 1, the chorus of Wonderwall is extremely annoying. I can't stand the elongated "all" sound in "after all" and "Wonderwall", that's what turned me off Oasis. Then i found out that Liam was a complete knob and Noel wasn't too far behind but still more likeable than Liam. It took me about 15 years to even consider an Oasis song as good, Don't Look Back in Anger is a good song

It's not a live performance though - he's lip syncing. Still the same sound as back in the day. Boring. IMO
