Just pleasure with the best jazz pianist in the world ! What else ?
Crazy facility and incredibly inventive. She seems to be taking you somewhere, you don't know where and at the same time, you don't care. You just want to go along on the journey. What an unexpected treat.
Amazingly awesome... Beethoven's Piano Sonata No.8, Pathetique 💕💕💕
Anthony Jackson man, there is no other mastermind behind the (contra)bass guitar. Such amazing master-class playing from that man. He does not get enough credit, and is extremely well spoken. Thank you Mr. Jackson!
After discovering her few days ago, I listened to her for 4-5 hours - perhaps more. I still cannot figure out how to express my feeling but to say it’s her spirit of adventure, curiosity, and much more that resonate something with me - deep inside, kind of like Zen experience. I’m grateful to find her and her work with others in various parts of the world. Bless you. We need it whatever that is to touch us deep inside.

Anthony Jackson is wearing the shirt we used to wear as a uniform for a nightclub I worked at. All this time I thought the shirts were custom made. What a strange and awesome coincidence!
ANTHONY IS A MONSTER BASS MAN EVEN FROM SO FAR BACK 70S 80S EVERYTHING HE'S INVOLVED WITH JUST BECOMES EXTRA LARGE MUSIC
Anthony Jackson, contra base genius and Simon Phillips, drumming, unbelievable and a list of players that they have played with in their careers is just more phenomenal than any other music group in the world

I've heard the holy grail of all jazz pianists is to solo in chords, not just single notes. If so, she has found the grail in that last piece.
I don’t have a preference :Simon Phillips or steve. Either way gold

Hello, If by Steve you mean Steve Smith, I think that they are different. Steve's approach is more a trad jazz drummer and Simon is more a jazz rock drummer, but Simon has more dynamics in his play than Steve, more subtle when its needed. Also, I think both Himomi and Anthony Jackson seems to enjoy more when they play with Simon than with Steve. Hiromi smiles more and looks more relaxed with Simon, and for me, thats mean they play slightly better. Said that, I preffer Hiromi with Simon than Steve (even if I found Steve Smith to be one of the best drummers in the planet). Cheers,
OMG! Thank you so much for posting this! Most of the other shows on YT have Steve Smith (who is amazing) but its so good to see the original Trio formation. My favorite jazz group ever!

Just wonderful!
Love her and this trio. ❤️
Holy crap this is amazing 😊
I also seen her four times in four different ensembles one the first time was with the trio Santa Monica California. The second was with Edmar. Also in Santa Monica the third was Hiromi solo at the Mim in Scottsdale Arizona and the fourth time was with the quintet also at the meme and Scottsdale I cannot wait to see her in her new band sonic wonderbecause I’ve always wanted to know what she would sound like with the horn and I was hoping it would be a trumpet not a saxophone, but my wish is true come back to Arizona Hiromi

Hiromi is awesome as herself in Sonicwonder, but the band feels premature or at least not sonically close to the quality we see here in the trio project. One wish I have for future albums of her's is more use of that Nord stage synth together with the Yamaha. Amazing things happen when she does that

Simon is the best
Fabulous! Bravisimo ❤
Thank you very much Cyril, such a great concert. I can't help wondering what would have thought Beethoven of this rendition of his sonata, but I'm rather sure he would have enjoyed it :)
Best show I ever saw was Hiromi at the Dakota club in Minneapolis. I was 5 feet from her. She cried. I cried. It was unreal except it was real

Like they say in tennis; Too Good!!!
Sola o liderando, gran musica.
Such good musicians. They can go anywhere they want within the music!
Anthony Edwards turned me on to her. Wonderful. Very organized, but expressive. Very complimentary styles and great chemistry.

What planet does she come from?
So nice to see Philips can spread his wings.

Just stopped here to say that in 2024 Hiromi still looking the same as in 2012. Isn't that impressive?!

Not as impressive as her playing.
Anthony Jackson also played with Michel Petrucciani back in the day
It must be so boring for Simon Philips playing 'Afrika' by ToTo for the 500th time. Such fresh air for him here.. Cause when the famous so called 'Thé "Rosanna-shuffle' makes you think as a drummer 'Here we go again'..than this is what you need. Only Simon can pull this flawless off..believe me.
Can someone tell me what the titles are in order?
Extreem good fusion trio, I've enjoyed it a lot. 💯🙏🏼✌🏼 Which Bass amp is that ? It looks like the Avalon VT-737SP vocal preamp ? 43:01

She’d be annoying if she wasn’t so precious a gemstone. She’s good and she knows it. Beyond good, really, perhaps the greatest jazz pianist of this generation.
Now I am sure : GOD is a woman..........❤
Do you remember somebody named Art Tatum? Me neither.
Just 1 word : Riveting
Anthony Jackson is not from earth
Trop de batterie pas assez de bass toujours ce problème des oreilles des francais
Banale come un gatto che miagola
