こんにちわ、 まよ! I have one doubt, do japanese people write characters from right to left, like urdu? Or from top to bottom? Because i have seen nobita reading comics from opposite side of the book, also i have seen him writing a thanksgiving letter to his uncle from top to bottom, and here also you follow the same ! but i saw many japanese songs' lyrics which are written in left to right way. I am a bit confused, which one to follow?

the books starts from right. But the words are written left to right. Check any manga book. Even english translated manga books are to be read from left to right.

It is written left to right but as you know in japanese the letters are not touching each other when written as a word like hindi (having sheero-rekha) and english (as cursive writing ) so it is easy to right vertically (top to bottom). Not just japanese but Korean and Chinese as well. I know nothing about japanese other than this thing. But I'm learning Korean since a year with #한국언니.

Means लिटरली आई एम trying to learn Japanese from 2 years even I am 10 years old boy but first time I am getting online teacher in the form of Mayo and I will love to learn Japanese with her .
