The chord voicing kinda reminds me of silversun pickups, i really dig it

so that's how my favorite chords are called
Only one suggestion bro… use a DI or mic the amp!! That tone sounds great, I wanna hear it!

@@dapoltergeistDirect Input, it just means plugging your guitar straight into your computer to record. This can be done with a 1/4” to USB cable, or an audio interface

Those chords plus the Fender Jag, kind of reminds me of the first Placebo record. Nicely done.

Nothing particularly hipster about those chords. That's a very pretty Jaguar though.

Sorry but how can you say it sounds killer? It’s sounds awful!!!! All you can hear is the noise from the strings it’s clearly recorded with a phone. The amp isn’t mic’ed or at least use a DI and some AMP-sim.

interstate 8 mixed with broke mixed with something else I can't place it's the we were dead before the ship even sank era though.... might listen to that whole album and come back.... and see if i found the 3rd song on that album.

Wtf is a hipster in 2024?
So… people who know how to play chords more advanced than two note power chords or very basic triads are “hipsters”? Is that the implication here?

it's really more that they come up alot in like indie records, and thus are kinda associated with pretentious or "hipster" records and artists. I'm also sorry to break this to you, but yeah man, most super popular music doesn't use anything beyond triads and power chords. I don't wanna shit in it. But, ya know, just saying.
