    Wow that looks heavy and uncomfortable against the back and shoulder blades. Also, weight should be transferred from shoulders to hips. Look at the design of any high end hiker’s backpack. Such a good idea but still in infancy.

    @@RestWithin Personally, I'd only have it on my back for short periods, transitioning across logs or up rocky steps. Perhaps we can't expect it to be everything to everyone?

    Can the straps be left on it or do you need to take them on and off.
