it actually slowed down a little, on the very first part, that's the usual tempo of the song, then it slowed down. like an obviouuus change of tempo

thats like saying "oh look, an old white dude wearing a trump shirt...real shocker." What's your point? In "Way It Goes" he references himself and other millennials as "degenerate, counter culture, crying socialist". Vampire Weekend, (another indie band) references socialism in their songs too. So yes, young "indie" people tend to be more liberal, hence the Bernie support. I guess the bottom line comes down to, do you like their music? If yes, continue listening. If no, shut the fuck up and go find other music to listen to.
