His name is DeCarlo 😊 he's been part of the band since the start but sort of less so now since he's in another band, but he performs with them for concerts and sessions and has played trumpet on their songs, he's really cool

yes! decarlo has been friends with them since high school and was actually in another band called northern / danger will robinson with nathan but they departed and right after nathan started hippo in 2013. decarlo joined them in 2016/17 with their first album. he started as a touring member but became an official member with the new album. he said he might not be forever because he has other plans but for right now he is.
